no, but close! this is set during the episode in which the earth heads to the sun. him saying "i couldn't have changed anyways" is him talking to both luna and merc, saying that a planet like him is incapable of change and that (to him) this was the only actual solution to his actions if that makes sense

OKAYY SO BASICALLY this is set during the episode in which earth heads to the sun, so mercury has already been telling him he can change if he lets them help him do that. the "turbulence" is his instability when luna leaves; its him getting bad. the turbulence wasn't forecasted- no one expected him to be so unstable and unpredictable without luna there. he follows this up eirh "i couldn't have changed anyways" as a response to mercury's talk of him changing. does that make any sense or am i js yapping 😭😭
