Doc, these are the Bees Knees. I bought several sets of these, in different head shapes, lengths, and "intensities", some rated for 1500 pounds, some 3500 pounds, of impact force respectively. Initially thought it was a gimmick, but saw some real world usage videos, and I was sold. Tons of applications, very versatile, and very robust, I haven't experienced any premature wearing or damaged tips. I also placed the most pronounced shaped tips in my vehicles for emergency usage, to brake out windows with almost 0 force/effort needed. I also have seen Police carry these in tiny form, with a clip attached, edc'd, in shirt pocket, to bust out windows lickedly split 💥. I'm a big fan of these implements, just be sure you're getting the real deal, as "Spring Tools" are the originals, and there are tons of cheap knockoffs, that implode with very light usage. Not sure if "Spring Tools" are selling to other manufacturers (ie- "Mayhew"), to be rebranded, which is common for tool companies, but please be aware before purchasing. Thanks Doc for the video, great content as always, 🙋♂️, -Paul.

Always have my spring punch in my pocket for work. Sets nails, removes pins

I have two spring tools, primarily for roll pins. They work very well, especially in tight areas. Love that eastwing hammer. I have a few hammers as most do and that Leather handle polished Eastwing is my "house" hammer. It never sees outdoors or a job site. I primarily use Vaughan's for my building needs and site use. Thanks again brother for another great video.

I keep one in the door of my vehicles for glass breaking, and the metal center punch with the hardened tip is a daily driver for me. I like it better than the auto center punches.

I have a spring marking one for making a nice neat dent in metal before drilling it. Very handy.

I have a Mac tools branded set I bought years ago. My favorite use is to knock the center pin from pop riviets to make them easier to remove. Lots of window regulators/glass were held in with rivets, not the kind of think you want to use a hammer and punch on. Knock out the steel pin and the aluminum rivets drill super easy.

I've had one of the Spring Tools center punches for some years. It's 'ok' I suppose, filling the gap between when a conventional & automatic center punch isn't practical. So far, I've only used it on Aluminum.

I love my spring tools, they were nicer than using a hammer and punch when I was building the exo cage. I'm glad you're showing off Mayhew and Spring tool's offerings rather than Snap On's obscenely priced copy (assuming they're not just branded Mayhews.).

love your channel man. I just bought a very highly rated "Coast" headlamp. I love it, 1200 lumen output, magnetic base to turn it into a stationary flashlight, and wide to narrow beam adjustment. Any chance you wanna do a video on headlamp comparison?
