To Maui’s point on NRG being the Ex-EG core, they didn’t show much results wise in EPL but they did in fact compete pretty well with ENCE, Mouz, MIBR, & beat Rooster (obviously) not to mention they almost (choked) beat G2 at Blast. On paper the upgrades are perfect too oSee SHOULD be better than Junior (inshallah), Brehze (he’s back) as the anchor is much better than HexT was in that role, & HexT has been playing WAY better than Jeorge did in those roles! Love Launders' point on casters & being the current "flavour". I have exactly the same. SPUNJ & Machine are undeniably amazing casters, I just got kinda sick of hearing them so much during the online era and the big finals they've done in the past few years. Currently, Launders & Scrawny are my favourite duo. Before SPUNJ & Machine it was Anders and Moses (for me), etc. , it rotates. On the other hand Zywoo is more versatile which means he kill better with different weapons in different situations which means he will get more kills over the long run bcuz no matter what gun he uses and which gun gets nerfed or if it is CSGO or CS2 he will be really good and look really good inside the server . S1mple at his peek (2018 and 2021) was better but he's not anymore that means he's was just the best at one game relatively the best with one gun (AWP) and he isn't anymore .

Daps said he was meant to be the coach but due to roster locks and a lack of IGL options, he took it temporarily. (Of course that could be PR) Side note... Imagine a world where Team Liquid kept oSee and to 2nd AWP and Rifle - They'd have kept their core, a core that had played together for 18+ months - While cadiaN struggles with the macro/micro of building a plan oSee could pick up the AWP occasionally - They'd have saved 600k on - They'd be a full NA core and ESL could invite them as Local hero to NA events - oSee is low ego, was a support AWPer and could play a high skilled anchor role - oSee biggest highlights and clutches are with the rifle - EliGE pointed out his utility work is extremely high

Yeah, daps mentioned it and I believe it was around that same time that autimatic was unofficially confirmed to be in the team once daps moved to coaching as well (the implication being that tim would igl after returning to competition, but ofc that didn't happen, and could have been due to replacing fang instead after the roster didn't work out) I agree that keeping oSee would not have been the worst idea IF they knew from the get-go the situation with cadian in heroic-astralis. I believe this roster is ultimately the result of somewhat competent team-building in a short span (I say somewhat, because they should have still gotten a primary awper / kept osee / found a secondary awp to compliment cadian so the burden of awp-igl wasn't as massive early on). My only question for management really boils down to how much did zews influence the skullz addition. If it was a simple suggestion that management opted to follow, I would start questioning them more than any current player/coach rn.
