He helped me in the start when to take timeouts, sometimes just to break the opponents momentum and not even say anything tactically just to breath. He helped me with how much anti strat he likes for himself so he can still feel the game on his own. And obviously inside of the game, especially in CS:GO he was probably the smartest player Just really alot of valuable feedback but with good intentions, sometimes people and players just say "this is shit" without any fix but with him it was always "you could do XYZ better by doing ABC" and I knew I could always tell him anything without him being mad at me since we knew each other for 4 years."

I remember the Richard Lewis interview with Taz how he was saying that when he joined G2, the staff were telling him just go easy and don't rattle any cages at first, get a feel for things and all this stuff. I think it's pretty weird how people look at NAVI winning the Major with these player performances from iM and b1t and think that it means they will not be winning events in the future. Wouldn't it be actually more "fluky" if they won on the back of just everyone having massive performances all the way? They won the Major and still looked like there's a lot of room for improvement while only jL had a clear overperformance. Both b1t and iM can play better than they did for most of this tournament. W0nderful performed to his level or a bit above of that, but he's still very young and should just naturally get better with more time and experience. Aleksib was calling well, but his individual form was also below average before the semis and grand final, where he stepped up massively. Their teamplay looked shaky in the Elimination Stage and got gradually better with every game they played. B1ad3 was also saying in an interview that they're only 60% of the way to what he would call a true NAVI system. What if the real fluke wasn't that they won, but that they won so soon? What if this Major from them was just a glimpse of what was to come in the future?

Hooxi getting so much blame is absurd. He called a great series vs mouz and navi. You could reasonably argue that g2 should have 2-0'd Na'vi if it wasn't for very poor performances from hunter and niko. And even still they almost won in 3, ancient was a very close map, with once again poor performances from niko and hunter. Hooxi has dropped the ball in previous majors, but this major it wasn't even remotely on Hooxi's shoulders.

I must say: Do I think Hooxi is a top IGL? No. Is there a world where G2 has a better one? Absolutely! But the way Kassad continously doubles down on this Hooxi bashing is cringeworthy and obviously biased. Why is it biased? Because he only calls out Hooxi, whenever G2 doesn´t win. He doesn´t call out Hunter, not NiKo, everybody can have bad tournaments but it's automatically Hooxis fault. In his tweet he said that "You have #2 , #4 and #13 players on the planet.". Buddy. That is unreasonable levels of cope. NiKo is not even top 10 in CS2, probably not even top 20. Hunter fell off a clip in CS2 aswell. Nothing could happen to convince Kassad that Hooxi is a good IGL. So any take from Kassad about G2 is absolutely worthless, because he is extremely bitter. He has a good understanding of CS, gotta give him that, but this hate-train seems personal and unjustified.

The spirit hot take is still great, but I don't know if they win te next Major... I think Vitality could be Spirit's kriptonyte with an in form ZywOo. At first I was a little bit skeptical about how Vitality's form would be, but they performed just fine, it was more of a ZywOo problem, otherwise they would be major champions two times in row! Really bad we didn't get to see that match up in the semis anyway, because now we might get that in a less important match!
