What did you have to do in order to fit 35's on the GX470?

I know it's late but it may help others. I had to do a body mount chop for strength, max out the camber, aftermarket uca, and either wheel spacers or offset wheel so the tyre will clear the steering knuckle.

At this time they (Metal Tech 4x4) only make it for the Lexus and a similar version (Redeye) for the Toyota FJ Cruiser.

This bumper is CAD engineered, laser cut than welded in a jig to maintain tolerances for the complete bumper. What components were you thinking would be available off the self?

@@lastgreatroadtrip thank you, I contacted the manufacturer and got some details on suspension lift and bumpers...I'm trying to decide now on the LX 470 or the Gx470. The GX was a little small I felt like but maybe better fuel mileage. The LX may last longer.

What's the suspension used?

Not my truck but I believe it was an Icon suspension setup, with 35" tires. As for GX v LX both are good trucks that will last and MPG will be about the same. The LX is a bit bigger and has a few additional goodies but also runs about 15% more than a comparable used GX. It's a hard choice. Good luck.
