A lot of people really hated this gen tundra when it first came out. Either the tail light design or the front grill. In my opinion I can’t stop looking at it, every angle the lines on this thing reveal a new perspective on the truck. Plus the wheel set up you put on it looks proper 👍🏻

Nice video. My 100 series Land Cruiser has the exact same set up down to the tires. I went with the complete set same front and back. Love it. I also did the Ironman front bumper. Can’t wait to see how your Tundra ends up at the end. Been. Thinking about getting one.

I did 2.5 front and rear Dobson’s on my pro 4 runner and love it , rides like stock suspension but has a better stance and look and more ground clearance

You’ll want to upgrade to the longer trd front axels. The black axels are shorter and only good to 2” of lift before you risk over traveling them and pulling them apart.

That's what they say, but there are a lot of guys on taller lifts romping Baja with no issues on the non trd axles. I'll probably swap to them eventually though.

I’ve got the foam cell pro on my Tacoma and it was pretty stiff as well, ended up taking the sway bar off and it made a noticeable difference

Man I’m diggin it. That is the exact same truck I want as well. I was worried about the Non-TRD off road because Westcott designs says the axles are shorter in the non TRD version on the platinum.

Love the build. So sexy. I’m prob alone on this, but I love the black chrome grill surround on the gray, even with the winch bumper. If you wrap it then I would ditch it for color match or matte black, but it looks really clean and classy at the same time. I am interested in the garmin dash cam if you have anything on it. I’ve been looking for a while and was almost settled on wolf box but I don’t like the strap wrap around 😅.

The cross bin is sick... but what do you do when you have a tent on the back, or anything that sittings on the crossbars. The cross bin is then inaccessible right?

Correct. It relies on the cover being able to open. I may diy a hinge type mount that would allow you to kind of "emergency easier access" here in the future.

Have you seen any issues with all of the Toyota sensors ? Adaptive cruise control or any of that with that lift ?

Nothing with the lift - I've heard that with a level, they may need to be recalibrated or something, as Toyota expects there to be some rake. Some bumpers may need a little tweaking - but most nowadays have accommodations for all sensors, and everything should work as expected.

It's just not a very good lift. But it's a 3" lift, so it's taller than my 2.5", but not rated for the extra weight
