It is wild that these open death threats are being spewed by people who have a relatively larger following with an impressionable audience instead of just keyboard warriors. The fact that this behavior flies under the radar of big platforms for some creators is terrifying. They ban people for having differing opinions but someone unabashedly displaying malicious intent towards someone who is not anonymous is somehow okay? And even if they get some push back, they can always resort back to the threat being a joke, you know, just without the funny part. The worst part is that they can influence some nutjob with half a brain to actually go ahead and do something drastic after being "inspired" by their favorite creator. How can anyone vouch for what all of their audience would or wouldn't do? I think Destiny should consider actually being proactive towards putting a stop to this deranged behavior through legal means. This is different from the threats of a loser troll in a basement with no influence. Absolutely vile mfs

The funny thing about One Piece is that, for like 20 years it was in production and the only people who talked about it were pretty hardcore. They were always kinda weird in their zealotry considering how long it had been running, so they give you that super autistic vibe that Persona veterans and Touhou hardcores usually give off. Like it was really popular but it got overshadowed by seasonal trends and people just kinda like, knew about it, but it wasn't that viral or crazy. I highly doubt Hasan watches anime, let alone enjoys it. After the One Piece Netflix adaptation came out, suddenly fucking EVERYONE is a One Piece fan. EVERYONE has One Piece decals on their cars and phones and computers. Suddenly EVERYONE has ALWAYS been a big anime fan now that it's popular and socially acceptable. The term "gusano" in Cuban politics originates from a speech by Fidel Castro in 1961, where he referred to Cubans who left the island after the Cuban Revolution as "gusanos" (lit. "worms"). This term was used to describe opponents of the regime, particularly those who exiled themselves in Miami, and became a common insult used by government supporters to discredit anti-Castro individuals. Additional note: It is worth noting that in the United States, especially in areas with a large Latin American population, the term "gusano" has been adopted in some contexts to refer to someone seen as an opportunist or a traitor. However, many Americans who use this term may not be aware of its political roots and negative connotation in the Cuban context. It is essential to understand the origin and original meaning of the term to avoid its misuse or out-of-context application.

Destiny was kinda right on his first take on the chatgpt error thing: the response comes in a json, which means you're never gonna have parsing issues unless you have some advanced form of brain damage because whatever programming language you're using already has a parser for it implemented (it's a format that has a well-defined standard). Not only that, the response has a whole bunch of extra info besides the generated texts and the prompt isn't part of that info. You could make a bot that fails in that way (happens to print out only the damning info while excluding all of the irrelevant info and mispelling stuff along the way), but you would have to go out of your way to have it fail like that. On the middleman thing: the response from the middleman would still be a json and so you still wouldn't have parsing issues. If it was an actual debug message, it wouldn't come from the middleman (because there would be no reason for the middleman to be parsing its own response or to send that plain text string), it would still have to be from the bot itself. So regardless of whether there was some middleman or not, the bot would still have to be made in a way where it gathered up all that info specifically (which isn't info you'd normally want in a debug message either) and submitted it as a tweet. Also, setting up a middleman is explicitly against OpenAI ToS and is probably an insta-ban (middlemen would be backdoors to avoid bans, so they would completely remove OpenAI's ability to control who uses their services if allowed). Also also, the json in the tweet has the plain text representation of another json inside of it, which makes no sense (you can nest jsons and you'd never mix plain text and json in a response unless it's supposed to be human-readable), and that json is supposed to be the output from the "middleman" and its error message says the error message came directly from chatgpt (either that or another middleman between the middleman and chatgpt). Then there's the fact that there aren't curly brackets or square brackets around the listed items, which means it's actually a bunch of different jsons, each with only a single key, which makes no sense. And if for some reason the response was split into a bunch of smaller jsons then the only way those specific jsons would get in an error log is if they were each individually and manually added to the string to be logged. All of it makes no sense: it's super clearly fake
@Reverate3 ай бұрын
The most immediate red flag to me about that Chat GPT bot is that the error they've tweeted is not even valid JSON, nor is it in a format that you would ever parse and then convert valid JSON into. Looks like nonsense to me

I imagine whenever Destiny picks up a new orbiter, he has a private conversation with them that goes like "so one day we will hate each other, and it's up to you when we have our fall out" and some people time it right and others don't. Some do it too soon, trying to get those Vaush views before they've drawn a crowd, some do it too late after DGG is already tired of them and every now and then a career is started. Max, why did you do it to yourself? You didn't need to control everything.

threats of violence are illegal and they need to be treated as seriously on the internet as they are treated off the internet.

first few minutes of this video it is concerning that they treat destiny and his fanbase with heavy scrutiny, yet they are causally making hit threats and saying I will fight this person in real life and threaten to just end them or else they will continue slavery or oppression if left alive... They are acting exactly how they would portray destiny and his community and never see the irony of their own actions.

If they've convinced themselves that Destiny is absolute evil and they are absolute good, then they have the justification(in their minds at least), to do anything they want to him, no matter how horrendous or hypocritical.

Since the bot is replying to users, in order to have the user's context, it is usually appended in the prompt itself. The "Argue for support of Trump" being the only text in the prompt leans me towards this being more fake than real.
@Bildo183 ай бұрын
When making a call to any api you have response codes which allow you to determine if the response was successful (200) or unsuccessful (400s). I believe if the bot has ran out of credit it would return an error 429 - "You exceeded your current quota, please check your plan and billing details". So it all depends on what the programmer chooses to now do with this information. If I were to do it upon receiving a 429 I would have the bot shut down and a notification sent to me to refill the credit, not feed the bot with a bunch of un-validated data to expose itself. So I lean on the side that it's probably bullshit.

Hasan has the money, connections and popularity to go to different places in the world and actually make real change...but he's lazy and refuses to do more than scroll through twitter and react to tiktoks. Then he gets mad when people like Destiny and Lonerbox actually put in effort to learn, grow, and impact the world

About the ChatGPT: The original response json would serve the error message under a different key than the non-error response text. But then on the receiving end you can have mutliple layers of poorly done code, where in one layer we lose the distinction of error vs success, e.g. if (response.error) { return response.error.message; } else { return response.choices.message.content; } This would be silly, but totally consistent with what I have seen in the real world. The cause of software failures is not just laziness in the sense of doing too little, but also piling on layers of crap, where people add new code but are too afraid to remove any of the existing code.

50:00 my best guess for how this could legitimately happen is if the coder wrote in some sort of print json command as a test for when errors like this happen, but they didn't comment it out before deploying it live.

To be fair that comment is pretending like titles and thumbnails arent part of the video just because you use them to get maximum engagement as youtuber. just because you use if for something diffrent doesnt mean that the primary function changes.

Would not happen like this for the fake twitter bot. The error is returned in the error property of the response object in most client libraries (recent ones anyway). The actual replies are in an array, so for this to happen, the error would need to be in object.messages[0]. And if you wrapped the OpenAI API, you would just proxy or copy the response object. There would be no sense in adding code to not handle errors...

Destiny has called for violence against other streamers too so I don’t why he’s crying about it. How many times as he told people to “unalive” themselves? Look at Destiny’s tweets, is it a shock that people want to punch him in the face? He told protestors he would donate kerosine so they could ignite themselves. Like wtf?

@@JackDaniels-ru2xy "Also both are bad though so you're not saying anything meaningful." how ironic 🤣 Punching someone in the face and shooting several people in a crowded area are both bad, so it wouldn't really be meaningful to differentiate between the two. :^) 🤣🤣🤣 Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but you saying "Destiny has called for violence against other streamers too so I don't why he's crying about it." seems to be implying that what he's done(telling people to off themselves) is equivalent to what they've done to him( -telling- -encouraging- suggesting people to off Destiny), therefore he shouldn't cry about it.
@JackDaniels-ru2xy3 ай бұрын
@@WanderTheNomad I never said differentiating the two wasn’t meaningful. You can’t tell people to unalive themselves and call for violence against other people directly or indirectly, then cry when people do it back. You do know Hasan has a community right? You’d fit right in lmao
@WanderTheNomad3 ай бұрын
@@JackDaniels-ru2xy "I never said that." "I never said differentiating the two wasn’t meaningful." You don't seem to be saying anything then 😆Just clarifying what you're _not_ saying. Destiny's "crying" over uneven application of Twitch's TOS, which a lot of people have been "crying" about. And not just Twitch TOS, but just general attitude between the two. If you really think calls for violence(directly or indirectly) are bad, then stay consistent with it and call out when people on your side are doing it too. If you think calls for violence are fine, then don't cry about Destiny telling people to off themselves. I think Destiny would be fine with either one of those, since there's at least some consistency of principles with them.
