I do agree that excessive interrupting is an issue though, and IMO Sunday is just as guilty of that too so I don't feel sorry for him, but I do empathize with having to basically become a skipping CD repeating the same two words until you can finish the sentence, because otherwise you'll lose your train of thought completely. I think being able to focus in general is on a spectrum, and people with ADHD tend to be on the much lower end of that spectrum on average. That could easily result in this behavior if there's constant interruptions or distractions :P Some people are capable of continuing to speak without doing the repeat yourself dance, and that's very likely because they're able to tune noise much more effectively

Here's why Pisco did an amazing job in this discussion. The victory condition is to reach President Sunday's audience. President Sunday is very unlikable to most people and his argument seems bad in general, so most people are going to be unwilling to take his side anyway. President Sunday's objective is to confuse, disorient, and trigger Pisco into giving President Sunday an excuse to leave the discussion. Pisco immediately seeks clarification on who is responsible for proving credential fraud, and what it means to prove that. For the rest of the discussion, Pisco merely asks simple questions until he feels like he gets a satisfactory answer. Some of President Sunday's answers contradict each other, and Pisco generously offers him a window to correct himself over and over, to no effect. Pisco asking simple questions over and over is probably grating, but he comes off as sincere when he does it because he's being so charitable, even though President Sunday is making so many mistakes like contradicting definitions in his video. Even better, President Sunday is going down dumb ass rabbit holes like what it means to administer vs. create a test, and being really rude to Pisco. Pisco gives him no excuse to leave by responding to his constant provocation, and even President Sunday's friend comes in to try to help Sunday just answer the question and move things along. He never really answers here making him look even sillier. It all has the appearance that President Sunday is afraid to substantiate his position if he's unwilling to engage with Piss Inc. If you want to condemn notsoerudite's statements, because she once colloqially misquoted, or wrongly inflated 2 terms, that were already used almost synonymously within the field, then you have to be delusional and biased to the degree that you'd stop at nothing to condemn what anything that notsoerudite ever does. Sunday's video can't be categorised as anything other than malicious and ill guided misinformation, after you've watched notsoerudite's video on it. He has acknowledged that working in the industry under these roles allows you to gain these titles and you do not need an official certification or graduate degree. @@PolarizedxD There are two ways you can call yourself a psychometrician or a psychometrist. A) by way of education, which is impossible in alberta unless you got that education somewhere else, so she cannot have gotten that. B) as a description of vocation, for which she needs to have worked under that title and not just done things in the process of her education that on a layman's understanding sound similar to that job description. She has not claimed to have worked under that title at any point, so both possibilities are not the case. And neither of these points is relevant to the point of playing fast & loose with definitions when it suits her, which was sunday's (coincidentally not mine) point.

I like that Destiny brought up the difference between getting these degrees and doing the actual job. I got my two year degree in lab science (MLT) and started working in a lab. The information I learned in my degree worked well to supplement what I do at work, but the reality is, while in a career, most of your learning takes place in the workplace. After two years of working, I went back to get my bachelors degree... I didn't learn ANYTHING new. I had absolutely forgotten some of the stuff I learned previously, but there was not a single new thing that I learned. I'm now a Microbiologist at the hospital I work at WITHOUT a microbiology degree. My degree is in Clinical Laboratory Science. The best part is, we have a mix of MLSs and actual microbiology degrees, and the microbiologists are extremely far behind in the microbiology aspect because they don't teach much clinical microbiology in college. MLS students get a lot of clinical microbiology. President Sunday is obviously someone who has never actually worked a career before. He doesn't seem to understand how this stuff work. It's not as black and white as he is trying to make it out to be.

I just don’t know how much if it’s an exact 1 to 1 comparison with psychology and working with the human mind as a therapist. There’s only so much the general public can figure out about helping people physiologically without additional knowledge about how the brain works in regards to trauma.

The reality is, like Destiny said, she seems to always say she does not have these specific degrees. the point I am making is, even though you don't have a degree that tells you your tittle, does not mean you cannot use that title AND does not mean you don't have the qualifications to do that type of work. He is fixated on definitions that both him and erudite could have gotten wrong. I am a clinical laboratory scientist by degree and licensure. I am not a microbiologist by degree. I am a microbiologist by title. I am a microbiologist by the work I am doing in microbiology. If they took away my title of microbiologist, I would still feel comfortable calling myself a microbiologist because of the work I do regardless of not having a slip of paper OR title at work. I do not feel the need to emphasize that I am a clinical microbiologist unless I'm talking to someone where it would make a meaningful difference (a research microbiologist for example). If these degree were taken away from me, it would have zero effect on the knowledge I have and can share, and on the work I do. Obviously some things are protected titles which seems to be what this entire conversation was alluding to, but sunday ran away as always. He doesn't care that the word literally has multiple definitions. He cycles between his definition and her detention to try and prover her wrong, but even if she didn't give the best definition she can still be 100% right. He didn't care about discussing that though.

Hang on, there is no state in the US that allows for masters program in counseling or therapy to be obtained with leas than 100 plus hours of supervised face to face therapy work. And to get a license, you need at least another 1500 hours over the course of 2 years Erudite, as much as I love her, does play a bit loose with her definitions/titles. Also, a psychometrician is not necessarily doing therapy as much much as they are doing assessments and scorings...ita quite different

I worked for years on a diploma back in 2012, and to this day I still get the title of the credentials wrong. Not only is the program I took a strong of words I can sum up easier myself, they changed the title of the credentials two months before I finished. It's entirely reasonable that someone wouldn't recall the exact degree they have, because typically they're not using it to 100% of its capabilities when they choose a job.
