Same happened to my friend who was trying to get her tubes tied. She'd already have one child, she was married and did not want to have more children and her doctor refused to give her the tubal litigation she requested because "she might want more kids" my friends was 28 at the time. 🤭 Grown enough to have children but not grown enough to say no more kids?Where are these eager surgeons that will cut you at a moment's notice?👀

I've been having my period all but 3 total weeks if you add up the days and the hours since last November despite going on the shot in May to stop it. No fibroids, no cysts, no reason for it to have started and continuing. I informed my doctor I want a hysterectomy because I can't afford my uterus anymore. I was told to cut down on my heating because my child-free, fur-baby brain might find the right man sometime in the "next what could be 35 years--you got women in India getting IVF!" No, bro, I'm going to starve to death way before then for the privilege of bleeding out of everything I own all day, every day for 11 months. I'm exhausted, anemic, and all the tests are coming back "normal" so it's "just a weird quirk." FUCK ING PASS

You know what’s depressing about the “kids are using cat litter trays!” Story? @oneandonlyjark
@oneandonlyjark Жыл бұрын
It's also depressing that, as usual, those areas blame the bogeyman groups that they collectively refer to as "The Left," and act like these situations - even if true - are recent upheavals caused by upstarts. 20-25 years ago, during the decline of Mainstream Media's anti-liberal bias (yes, kids, the MSM was squarely in the right'd favour at one time!), i once saw a news special on growing decorative disfigurement trends in transhumanism (note that transhumanism has literally nothing to do with LGBTQIA+). There was a man who tatoo'd tiger stripes all over his body, cut slits at the corners of his eyes, wore feline-eye contacts, disfigured his lip clefts and filed his teeth into points. He even wore whiskers. That guy wasn't transexual or transgender (afaik), so it goes to show that human dysmorphia, odd behaviours and disfigurement are NOT attributed to sexual orientation or gender ID. It's independent. So even us normies are prone to identifying as fucking tigers.

When the attacks on Mumbai happened, a large group of people were hiding in a banquet room for a extended period at the Tah Mahal Palace Hotel. @@mr.fancypants666 the problem I have with that is the "solution to a problem that doesn't exist" mentality. As noted in the video transgender people dominating sports just isn't happening. However, let's say we did take the left's solution and put it into practice. Transgender kids are given the information early enough to express themselves and get onto puberty blockers. That means that when they compete in teen sports, they're at a disadvantage compared to their cisgender peers; because their cisgender peers have gone through puberty and they haven't due to the blockers.

Took me 15 years- with massive medical issue due to my uterus. The pain was debilitating, hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical bills, no insurance because I had trouble working, an absolute MISERY. Fight for what you need. Talk to different doctors. If one isn’t supportive of something- go to another. Life is too precious to spend in crying in misery, wishing that the offending organ be removed. I woke up from surgery needing no pain meds- even tho it was a hip to hip cut (like a c section). I didn’t need any meds. I could have sex without pain. I wasn’t spending days in bed, unable to move, weeping. Support these trans kids & adults. Often, their very lives depend on it. And we should be a society that accepts & includes differences, especially ones that are personal & ARENT EVEN AFFECTING THE PEOPLE FIGHTING AGAINST THEM! When half of any population is considering suicide- it’s time to make some GD choices. Better choices. And John Oliver is right on the joy- everyone should be able to pursue their joy! As long as you aren’t harming others- rock on!

god i love when the person talking out of their ass, making up definitions for acronyms as if they're merrian webster themselves, is asking for a source. have you, by chance, had extended contact with a trans man before? have you ever even talked to one before? have any of them ever told you anything remotely close to your own self-proclaimed definition of a term that has no relevance or weight in the real, actual, physical world?
@HeatherBarks
@HeatherBarks Жыл бұрын
ROGD is a made-up term by conservative parents, mainly used as a sort of "intellectual reasoning" as to why their child "suddenly became trans." i know you don't actually understand what it's like to even be in the presence of a trans person to hear their story, let alone step into their shoes, but my conservative parents thought I had it. that it was "just a phase," that "it was brought on so suddenly," and that "they'd never seen the signs." i came out at 14, but lest i forget being as young as 6- far before getting access to the internet and far before my parents started watching conspiracy theory cable news- and wearing towels like dresses after bath time because it made me feel pretty. you asking for sources was just incredibly ironic to me, as throughout your entire tirade through this comment section over the last few months, and over 1000 comments later, I actually haven't seen you cite a single source that wasn't from a blatant anti-trans, far-right activist who's "evidence" was either completely false, had no weight to it whatsoever, or was skewed by the fact that they picked obvious anti-trans demographics to coax their "research" into being swayed in their direction. let me ask you a question. do you have the same favorite color as when you were, say, 10? what about your favorite food? your favorite type of music? do you realize that the human brain evolves over time? and do you realize that as the idea of being trans becomes more mainstream and more accepted, more people are starting to come out as trans, solely because the idea is becoming less stigmatized, and their thoughts and feelings are actually starting to be validated? maybe you've seen the study of what percent of people are left handed, from 1900-today. back before the 1960s, left handed people were forced to write with their right hand because being left handed was unnatural. now, today, once people stopped giving a fuck about what hand you wrote with, the percentage of left handed people skyrocketed in the following couple decades, and then plateaued, because while still uncommon, left handed people were allowed to be their fucking selves, and write with their left hand. and as soon as people like you stop ostricizing trans people and invalidating their feelings, making them feel like they have no purpose in the world simply because they don't feel like what they were born as, the percentage of LGBTQ+ people is going to skyrocket, and then plateau. because once the LGBTQ+ community can start being themselves, and not have to worry about fucktards like you contributing to trans suicide and self-harm by constantly bashing them and telling them "sorry you had to castrate yourself to feel better," maybe it'll start being safer to come out as trans, just like it became safer to write with your left fucking hand.
@HeatherBarks

if that didn't answer your question, no, I don't believe whatever the fuck conspiracy theory you're trying to conjure up. It ranged from, "you will regret it later sweetie" to "your husband will have to give your permision in the future" (which was, as you can imagine, a total lie) and ended in "It goes against my religious beliefs, I'm not doing it" and the classic "Close your legs if you don't want kids". I didn't care about the kids, I didn't want to have to rely on heavy pain medication every month to function, but yeah, it's really easy for a child to take their uterus out. @@babs_babs The article mentions Cass in the first sentence but make no mistake, it is not about Cass but about the WPATH. According to the article: _Court documents recently released as part of the discovery process in a case involving youth gender medicine in Alabama reveal that wpath’s claim was built on shaky foundations. The documents show that the organisation’s leaders interfered with the production of systematic reviews that it had commissioned from the Johns Hopkins University Evidence-Based Practice Centre (epc) in 2018._ _From early on in the contract negotiations, wpath expressed a desire to control the results of the Hopkins team’s work. In December 2017, for example, Donna Kelly, an executive director at wpath, told Karen Robinson, the epc’s director, that the wpath board felt the epc researchers “cannot publish their findings independently”. A couple of weeks later, Ms Kelly emphasised that, “the [wpath] board wants it to be clear that the data cannot be used without wpath approval”._ _Ms Robinson saw this as an attempt to exert undue influence over what was supposed to be an independent process. John Ioannidis of Stanford University, who co-authored guidelines for systematic reviews, says that if sponsors interfere or are allowed to veto results, this can lead to either biased summaries or suppression of unfavourable evidence. Ms Robinson sought to avoid such an outcome. “In general, my understanding is that the university will not sign off on a contract that allows a sponsor to stop an academic publication,” she wrote to Ms Kelly._ _Months later, with the issue still apparently unresolved, Ms Robinson adopted a sterner tone. She noted in an email in March 2018 that, “Hopkins as an academic institution, and I as a faculty member therein, will not sign something that limits academic freedom in this manner,” nor “language that goes against current standards in systematic reviews and in guideline development”._
@ProkofNY
@ProkofNY 2 ай бұрын
@@babs_babs There’s more: _Eventually wpath relented, and in May 2018 Ms Robinson signed a contract granting wpath power to review and offer feedback on her team’s work, but not to meddle in any substantive way. After wpath leaders saw two manuscripts submitted for review in July 2020, however, the parties’ disagreements flared up again. In August the wpath executive committee wrote to Ms Robinson that wpath had “many concerns” about these papers, and that it was implementing a new policy in which wpath would have authority to influence the epc team’s output-including the power to nip papers in the bud on the basis of their conclusions._ _Ms Robinson protested that the new policy did not reflect the contract she had signed and violated basic principles of unfettered scientific inquiry she had emphasised repeatedly in her dealings with wpath. The Hopkins team published only one paper after wpath implemented its new policy: a 2021 meta-analysis on the effects of hormone therapy on transgender people. Among the recently released court documents is a wpath checklist confirming that an individual from wpath was involved “in the design, drafting of the article and final approval of [that] article”. (The article itself explicitly claims the opposite.) Now, more than six years after signing the agreement, the epc team does not appear to have published anything else, despite having provided wpath with the material for six systematic reviews, according to the documents._ _Another document recently unsealed shows that Rachel Levine, a transwoman who is assistant secretary for health, succeeded in pressing wpath to remove minimum ages for the treatment of children from its 2022 standards of care. Dr Levine’s office has not commented. Questions remain unanswered, but none of this helps wpath’s claim to be an organisation that bases its recommendations on science._ _No one at wpath or Johns Hopkins has responded to multiple inquiries, so there are still gaps in this timeline. But an email in October 2020 from wpath figures, including its incoming president at the time, Walter Bouman, to the working group on guidelines, made clear what sort of science wpath did (and did not) want published. Research must be “thoroughly scrutinised and reviewed to ensure that publication does not negatively affect the provision of transgender health care in the broadest sense,” it stated. Mr Bouman and one other coauthor of that email have been named to a World Health Organisation advisory board tasked with developing best practices for transgender medicine._ This is the end of the article.

This is very subjective based on where you live. Here in California, it depends on the reason. If it's part of gender affirming care, you can get it done fast, free, and no questions asked. I'm not giving "medical advice", I'm just saying, if I was a woman in a state like California or New York, and I wanted a hysterectomy, I would probably try to take that route if I had trouble elsewhere.

Bearded dragon owner here. I have one named Frank after my favorite architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Bearded dragons are omnivores. I typically feed him crickets and mealworms for meat, lettuce and kale for hydration and greens, and blueberries and strawberries. I especially love it when he eats blueberries because it looks like he's wearing lipstick. When he's not chilling on his hammock in his enclosure, I let him climb onto me and up to my shoulders. When it's hot out, I bring another enclosure and take him outside. I let him explore the grass (though he doesn't exactly move much), and when he's done, I place in a different enclosure so he doesn't move anywhere. His indoor enclosure is right next to a window and he loves to birdwatch from his hammock.

I'm expecting to need a hysterectomy in a few years due to a medical condition I inherited from my mom. That condition nearly killed her when I was a toddler. I'm strategizing to get the surgery now because unlike her, I don't have three kids...which means a lot of doctors flat-out refuse to do it because it would "destroy your ability to bear children." After all, what if I someday marry a man who wants kids? Never mind that I prefer to date women and that childbirth would most likely kill me for unrelated medical reasons. Similarly, "Healthcare is an admission of failure" is one of my favorites. It's true because the vast majority of major health problems you see, things like diabetes, obesity, many different types of cancer, all car and workplace accidents, etc, are entirely caused by environmental factors. People won't be diabetic or fat if they have access to the kinds of foods which don't slowly poison them, lung cancer exists largely because the CEOs of coal and tobacco companies are living in mansions instead of dying in ditches, car accidents happen because GM was allowed to buy and trash all of our mass transit in the 20s, and work accidents happen because the employees have forgotten the power of the picket line. All of these are problems which could be solved, and if you did, none of those people would need healthcare. Therefore, when someone is rushed into the emergecy room, it's because society failed all of us a long time ago.

I'm sure your experience is correct from your perspective. However what concerns me as a Mum. when teachers are telling kids in school to let them know what pronouns they prefer, asking if they are a boy or girl when its pretty clear who is a boy and a girl... that is creating a contagion.

@@kimmie411Knowing about pronouns isn't a social contagion any more than knowledge in general is a social contagion. @@notelggiW why does it contribute to gender disphoria? We should assume everyone is not a boy or girl? Just neutral? It's not what mother nature intended. @@kimmie411 When someone is called a "she" when that someone is a "he", that makes them feel dysphoric. People use the wrong pronouns because they assume. It's human nature to make quick judgements, assumptions, and use stereotypes as a shortcut for understanding things, and I don't blame people for that. But that doesn't mean we can't change. And it's not like we'll be changing all of humanity to just have people be more thoughtful about something as simple as pronouns. There have been and still are societies which recognize more than 2 genders, there are multiple languages that accommodate different genders, and if we look back in time we can see how language has changed and evolved along with our culture. I hear people used to be against the plural "you" back in the thee/thou days! Sorry for talking for so long, I'm just trying to be as thorough as possible. Long story short, society grows and changes, though it may be scary, it's also good. And very natural.

@@dariocarraresi1823 So many are so simple minded. Why do you think they aren't rich too? The problem isn't how rich someone is, it's what they control. When the government allows 6 people, for instance, to own 95% of all media outlets what do you hear? The same propagandist shit over and over and over. Taxing the wealthy won't accomplish much they'll just pass the cost on to you. You want to do something, break up Facebook break up Twitter break up Exxon break up Intel break up Halliburton, Raytheon Kellogg, JBS, Kraft, Nestle, General Dynamics, Boeing, Citibank, Bank of America, BUT MOST OF ALL AUDIT THE PRIVATE BANK CALLED THE FEDERAL RESERVE. Don't be simple, they are not! Making them pay more in taxes is only going to cost you more. And give the government the opportunity to take even more. You and every man woman and child in the United States now pays $2,300 a year to the military industrial complex to kill millions and millions of people over the last 70 years.

S.S. and Medicare paid for by workers but robbed by the government RETURNS 2TRILLION to those who PAID. Democrats, they're saying they're doing something about pharmaceutical costs😂 Take a look at the bill they're going to negotiate the cost of 60 drugs over 4years 3years from now, out of the 20,000 presently prescribed in the United States. One exception insulin. Who do you think's going to profit from that sham? They won't even tell you what drugs are going to negotiate. Pfizer just tripled the cost of their Jab😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
