Sumanji is a true human being she did not have grudge against any female singers of her times and accepted the songs which she got but mainly rafi sahab has sung with her many duets and also she sang such good solo songs but the listeners felt it was sung by lataji the credit for all her sung songs lataji got credit but still inspite of suppressing by other female singers she did not have any enmity against them, these were her ethics which she always followed, I think that our govt. should bestow her prestigious award for contribution to hindi as well as marathi cinema, this is my personal opinion.

All these you tubers try to give the impression that they knew all inside news. And their favorite punching bag is lata mangeshkar and her family. According to them lata was so powerful that all music directors of her time used to dance to her tunes. Big producers and directors used to listen to her advice regarding whose voice will suit whom. Point no.1, if she was so powerful then why she didn't give more songs to her brother and two other sisters. Point no.2, do you think, voice of shamshad begum or similar singers could suit the heroines of that time.
