Late 1930's Sears Honor-Bilt 20" 2-speed window fan. Found this very early Sears belt-drive branded under the same brand as Sears' kit homes back in the 1920's until around the 1970's. Until I found this I have never seen them branded under Honor-Bilt. These are mainly branded under Homart or Kenmore, and have the more common square shaped blades rather than the flower petal shaped blades this has.
When I first recieved it the motor/switch wires were all degraded and it was missing the cord. They were so deteriorated I waited until after I replaced them to power it up. The belt was also replaced as the original one looked more leather-like than rubber. Motor is made by Sunlight Electric which was a subsidiary of General Motors at the time.
This will be restored sometime soon to its original factory Cream/White color.
