where do you launch at? i paddle so i aint tryin to have to paddle hella far

This location there was a regional park launch. There are a couple regional park locations on the delta that are easy to launch a kayak from that are easy to paddle.

It's a nice slough but be careful of the big boats that fly through there during warmer months. They will swamp small kayaks. Lots of stripers will run through there in a few weeks.

@@fusionstar916 thanks for the heads up. Most of the sloughs are that way in the summer haha. Hard to find places to go where a kayak won’t get bombarded with boaters and jet skis lol.

Nice. It's funny 30 years of fishing the delta and I never fished Georgiana. where di you access? Close to sac river or Mokulmne?

@@johnnyfountaine this was also my first time fishing it. I just happened to find a regional park access. If you look it up online there is a website for it. No boat launch but a kayak launch and access for bank fisherman

Yeah there’s actually a few sections of the delta that hold a decent population of smallies, just have to know the right sections to fish. My PB smallie is actually on the delta

@ yeah they are out there. Couple sloughs hold them. Didn’t know this was one of them. Really cool though.
