Man you make me miss fishing the cypress swamps of south Louisiana. I'm in North West Arkansas now near table Rock and Beaver lakes. Don't really like deep clear water fishing. We are going to head to bald knob as soon as it warms up some and fish some areas we've heard about. Great job on your videos.

Yes sir love them Cypress swamps. I heard about that Bald knob lake also. I would like to try it one day. I want to see if I can make it that way this spring. I have a friend that talks about trout fishing below Beaver lake too. I fished the Norfolk,White River and the little red for rainbows and browns. Beautiful country and fun to catch.

Thank you. I do get hung up some times. That's how I find some of the hidden stumps and snags underwater. Then the next time I come up to that snag, I fish close but not too close.

Yank, where are you getting minnows this time of year? I don’t know that either of the local places still carry them and the places at Peckerwood are still closed due to duck season.

I have a big aquarium that I can keep some minnows in during the winter. You can go to Harry Saul minnow farms in De Valls Bluff and buy minnows. If you go, tell them the fish Yanker sent you.

I gotcha! At least that is on my way to some of the fishing places I’m wanting to try. Pool Fisheries in Lonoke used to tell me to come by and they would hook me up, but that was 5 or 6 years ago when I used to go by there for work. They are just way out of the way for anywhere I want to go.
