Yeah, golden move to hire Josh. But I'm pretty sure it was Craig who really didn't want a sidekick...this had to grow this way I guess.
@Munnmaista3 жыл бұрын
@@Snaakie83 Nah Craig actually loved the idea as soon as JRT suggested it, since they'd already been fully voicing him in some of the sketches. I think it was convincing the producers that it would be worth the effort that was harder

The line "You can always sleep through work tomorrow..." Used to completely screw me up, time and time again! I'd end up getting barely 5.5 hours of sleep Monday thru Thursday. I KNEW I was gonna hate myself for staying up to watch the night before... But I usually didn't care, show was soooo good!

I remember one night I was 7 1/2 months pregnant with my rainbow baby, which for those who don't know is a child born after I still birth or an infant loss, and my job at the time was teaching sex education in high school classrooms. That particular afternoon I was lecturing to a room full of medical students about how to engage with at risk youth in a more productive way. I binge watched Craig for two days and stayed up all night the night before. I don't know of anything I said made sense and after my 30 minute segment was over an OB/GYN student followed me out and asked if I was ok😱 I said I was up all night watching Craig Ferguson and she just nodded and said I get it honey he's freaking hilarious 😂🤣

fox_wands Me too. There was nothing like this show. Nothing. It was a running joke whenever they would "Not Like Any Other Late Night Show," but it was the truth. I always loved how laid back this show was. No scripts, no high profile celebrities. Just two friends sitting around talking and joking about whatever. Craig's said that he never wanted to have high profile celebs (Kardashian, Beiber, etc.) because he wanted people who he genuinely enjoyed the company of. I love that this channel on KZbin exists and that the videos are good quality.

This clip just came up in my feed. I was unaware Grant created Geoff but no surprise at all, kind of funny they made Geoff sound like a Dalek from Dr Who at first. I haven’t had cable TV for 10 years. The man was a robotics genius. He built and operated R2-D2 for some of the Star Wars movies, built a championship battle bot, and the last thing he was working on was a realistic robotic Grogu, he was even planning to market it in limited production.
