I like to see the additional diplo. One of my favorite part of T90 community games is the diplo part and the scheming. It would be awesome to see some of that migrate to AoE4.

Second game, bloodthirsty Turin was on the hunt. Shame, if he did realize at there were only 3 people left and did not attack pupr, he would have won. Moral of the story: Better grand situational awareness

Isnt byzantine an infinite gold civ effectively? They can produce units with olive oil which others would need gold for right?

They can to an extent, but it is nowhere NEAR as effective as infinite gold. Infinite gold can spam mass bombards, arty, MAA, whatever. Byz can make 1 arty piece from landmark, at a very slow pace with olive oil when out of gold.

Unless they changed it Greek fire rams also damage units so that is strong when vils jump out to torch

If you have had gold you'd have been fine. But as pure wood/ food attrition armies go, Byzantines can be the best, (as long as u get triumph and gulp!) it seems. Every villager kill is a ram

Byzantines really need every ounce of micro you got. I notice you have a habit of spamming buildings late game around cisterns that are not optimal. You need the perfect sim city in order to fit the buildings on those squares so they count as 3 buildings instead.

Just remove the gold cost for rams and I think Byzbros will be happy....we don't ask for much
