A sleep walker on a camping trip sounds like a terrible idea.

Yess she was completely irresponsible ! Scaring ppl and draining their good nightsleep was a best case scenario. Sleepwalking is one of those issues that becomes everyone's problem, so you need informed consent from other ppl. Bc at best they might not want to spend the nights of their days off babysitting you. And at worse they might not want to have to deal with your dumb arse when you fall into the still hot embers of the just put out campfire. Or being woken up in the middle of the night to you, screaming bloody murder, after falling and having broken something or gotten stabbed by a branch. Or having to file a missing person report when they inevitably don't find you in the morning, cause you got lost wandering at night. Or worse finding your body after you fell and broke your neck or been mauled by wildlife aways over. Just absolutely not, not having it.

Not at night, but on a hike. I was about 15-20 miles from the nearest road and double that from any sort of civilization. I came across a nearly skeletal man with long hair and a long beard but otherwise normal clothing. He had no pack, no water bottle, just a mesh sack at his side. He said it was full of wild mushrooms he planned to eat and he wanted to find more. I stopped for water and let him hike on ahead of me. After my 10-15 minute water break I figured I'd catch up to him again since he was taking his time. Never saw him again. This was the only trail in the area and it had a cliff down on one side and a cliff up on the other for about 10 more miles. No idea where/how he could've gone

Man, so many of these stories involve cougar and such and that is so scary because we Don't have things like that here in New Zealand.

Lemme tell you, they're an incredible sight...so long as they're far away. If you're ever close enough to see the light of their eyes at night, you'll wish you had brought a spare pair of pants.

Imagine being stalked in the forest for 3 days and wake up in the middle of the night because they’re standing outside your tent watching. 🤮

In response to the first one- I am a practitioner of pagan crafts. What OP is describing sounds reminiscent of the forms of witchcraft practiced in the bayous of Louisiana. The only part that confuses me is the deer head on the stick.

Ugh! These people that go hiking and wandering the forests and bush without being armed 🤦🏼‍♀️ Even if your ignorant big brother government “bans” personal firearms (Europe, Australia) you can still get one to protect yourself s d your family in situations like these!! Ugh. Quit being a sheep and protect yourself!

I wandered into a big stone building and there was a huge group of people all dressed the same all facing the same direction, chanting. Men, women, children all mumbling together in some ancient forsaken demon tongue.... ✝️

The thing about mountain lions is you can scan every few minutes with your flashlight they're smart enough to know you're doing this so when you do they close their eyes how do I know because one night 3:00 a.m. I'm working out of the back of my Jeep with headphones on right next to the persimmon Orchard where all the deer and bear go to eat the fruit don't ask me why I had that brilliant idea but I did obviously scanning every few minutes with the flashlight for some reason I had this terrible sensation to grab the flashlight and turn around immediately what do I see I can only explain as the face of a demon on the ground 10 ft behind me turns out I had just caught a mountain lion who was in that moment about to pounce on a dumbass in the middle of a field at 3:00 a.m. with headphones on
