It was a spooky incident but didn't know about it for a few days. I live in Central Oregon where it's a high desert so it gets pretty hot in the summer. I have a recliner on my porch that I often sleep in when it still warm at night. My dad puts out game cameras in late August to see what deer are coming through in the fall. We check the images on his cameras once a week. One of them captured a juvenile cougar sniffing around the wood pile, probably looking for rabbits or other vermin. That wood pile is only 30 feet from my porch and I was definitely sleeping in my chair that night. Makes me wonder what other critters come by so close that I am sleepily unaware of.

26:00 This story about Maine has to be the creepiest one, random junk like an unopened can of Pepsi from the 1980's appearing out of nowhere that wasn't there before.

Nothing beats the absolutely petrifying supernatural panic of getting lost in the woods in a snowy 17° winter, november pitch night with a spooked horse running at 45 miles per hour, being hunted by an unseen force, creating portals fucking with our sense of space and time (maybe it was just hyperthermia or something idk it was fucking creepy) and almost dying somewhere in the deep forest, knowing if we did die nobody would've found us.

I live in a small rual town in Georgia, one night back in like 2018, on the way back to my place from my moms, she also lived in a very rual town that was like 45 mins away from where I live, i took a back road that takes me to right infront of my house. The back road has a few houses down it mostly like farms and just a lot if wild open spaces and forests, its really pretty to drive down during the day, but this was like 10pm. I know not may people believe in cryptids, but i do, and as i passed this one beautiful farm house, i swear to god i saw something almost cross the road that looked like a big foot. There arent a lot of bears in the area im from, and the bears that do live around here are black bears, this was much bigger then a black bear. The thing scared the shit out of me. I was blasting music with my windows down, and after i stopped the car yo avoid hitting the thing, which kind of disappeared when i slowed down, i rolled my windos up completely turned off my music, and drive way under the speed limit scared out of my fucking mind. I was still like 20 mins away from my house. My mom always told me to text her when i got home, but i called her this time and told her what i saw. She said it could have just been one of those cut outs people do that look like bigfoot that they put in their yard. I went to bed pretty scared that night. A couple days later i had to go back to the town near where my mom lived, so to see if maybe it was just a cut out, i took that road again, the house didnt have one of the cut outs. To this day if i go down that road, i recently had to take it alot because the other one i like to take was closed for repairs, I get super anxious the closer i get to that house. When my regular road was closed i hated going down the bigfoot road, like i was so pissed it was taking so kong to fix the road because id rather not have to deal with that anxiety. I hear all kinds of weird sounds living out in the country, but thst was still the scariest thing ive ever fucking had happen to me.

11:00 Why do americans A.) have these weird doors that can apparently just be opened from the outside as long as the door is not FULLY locked?? And before anyone comes at me with "Yea..that's how doors work?" NO! Here in Germany doors have knobs or bars on the outside which you can use to push and pull a door but if the door is pulled shut that handle/knob won't do anything. You have to insert the key and twist it slightly to open the door. American house doors sound like a huge security flaw. I couldn't imagine having a door that I always have to FULLY lock cause otherwise anyone could just walk in. B.) Why do so many americans never lock their doors even though anyone can just walk in? ESPECIALLY when you leave your kids home alone? Sorry but no blinds on the windows and unlocked door through which anyone can just walk in? Just sounds stupid af. Like do you WANT your house to get robbed?
