Honestly the Korean pig foot isn’t much different than Mexican’s version of pig Pata which is either slow cooked/braised with spices & season or my favorite pickled which goes perfectly with beer. Both versions are super tender & since I was a child & always copying my father I grew up eating Pickled pig pata. Never had this Korean version but I’m sure I’ll love it just the same with some beer or wine of course

It doesn't taste like anything. You mostly rely on the sesame oil that the chef dumps on there for flavor.

It's actually not very rubbery raw. Has a slight taste, nothing weird, just fresh and it goes well with the sesame oil seasoning.

I really admire you. My sheltered life has rendered me virtually incapable of eating food that I have seen while it was alive. Oddly enough, I have no problem eating fish that I or someone I was fishing with caught. That is probably because I actually went fishing a few times as a child. In my opinion, we are seriously messing our children up By sheltering them as much as we do these days.

I’ve never tried any of those raw fish...the pancake and stuff looked like good late night post drinking food and the pigs foot definitely looks like it could be amazing while getting drunk. I’m southern and grew up with my grandma using smoke ham hocks to season beans so, that’s not really a stretch. I’m sure the seasonings are different but all in all it looks like it would be pretty tasty.
