In 1967, a lot of Europe looked at England and laughed at their outdated attitudes in law towards gay sex - France had decriminalised it by 1791, Belgium in 1795, Netherlands in 1811, Luxembourg in 1794, Sweden in 1944, most of Switzerland in 1798, Poland in 1932, Denmark in 1933, even Catholic Italy in 1890 which included Vatican City. Come 1967 England was a long way behind a lot in Europe over this.

I agree to an extent. But I have personally faced hardships due to being lesbian but I agree people playing the vitim are rather annoying.

Strange how things change , I was arrested for taking a picture on my phone of a gay couple,plain clothes ,one and an off duty police officer. That's a gay couple being oppressive !
