Hi from Nanaimo BC. I haven’t quite made the leap to WFPB but your videos are certainly helping me get my mindset closer. I like the variation in your videos especially the Q&A, cookbook reviews, and really enjoyed the Disneyworld video. Your videos are informative but what keeps me watching is your humour and seeing a fun family. Your kids are so great for trying so many different things and I appreciate their honesty.

I like your Q&A videos because chances are if someone thought of a question, others have the same question. I wondered about the pronunciation of the word "pasta" too. I thought it was the Canadian way of pronouncing it. I think either way you do Q&A's will be good, but I like the idea of 1 Q&A in each video. Whatever works for you!

I would love to see more videos in this style, it would help people find the questions a lot easier then having one at the end of every video where if someone wanted a single thing they would have to remember what video had what question at least when they are all together it's slightly easier to find

We try to extend the evening fast by finishing dinner early so after dinner snacking was a tough one. Stacking multiple strategies had to be employed: 1. Brush AND floss after dinner. 2.Pinky swear to your partner that you MUST repeat #1 in its entirety if you give in to snacking afterward. 3. We moved our dessert to after lunch not after dinner so our tastebuds weren't craving sweet this time of day. 4. If there's a food commercial on TV fast forward the recording, mute or leave the room till over. 5. If we just have to have a sweet something to "finish" the dinner meal, plan ahead and have healthier choices available. i.e. apple & peanut butter or an energy bite made with dates. But give yourself grace. If you fall off the wagon don't beat yourself up. Just get back on the following day. Hope this helps, Claudia from Saddlebrooke, AZ.

Hello from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Linden, Virginia! I like the idea of a whole edition of Q & A. You could choose randomly as you have this time, or develop themes for an edition or two. You could also answer questions with a family member to get different perspectives. And, as a former director of our local humane society, thank you for urging people to take in their pets they must surrender due to life circumstances. Our pets at least deserve being left with some history to ease their transition to a new home!

We used to have "Herman" come over every now and then when my children were still in school! The starter was indeed called Herman. He would stay for a couple of weeks and he and his offspring were distributed among friends and family, until we all had our bellies full of home made sourdough bread and reverted to 'regular' bread. I used to refer to sourdough bread as German bread.

. . . great vid & very helpful...one piece of wisdom to add, that I'm trying to instill in my husb, is that too many folks let others sway their own moods, not knowing that they absolutely cannot change others until they are ready to change any negative, toxic behaviors- but, if they realized & accepted that the only thing they CAN change is their own reaction to others' ... that, once they learn to switch their mindset to choose to NOT give others the power over them, their life can be so, so much happier & healthier... IMHO . . . sorry if somewhat unclear... 🥰

Hello from Almudena from Perth, Australia! Thanks for the video. My favourite videos by far that you make are those when you take a random (but good!) vegan cookbook and convert it to WFPB and the whole family ranks the recipes. Those videos are a lot of fun and have saved my huge vegan cookbook collection from the yard sale, now that I am WFPB. Just a minor typo, the top of your ranking chart when you show it onscreen should read "superb", not "suberb".

I would like a regular q and a too. I find all your videos instructive but it’s nice to have specific questions answered now and then. I think you asked in another video whether we would also be interested in a video on using an instant pot. I may have imagined that! But yes I would be interested in that. I’m a little scared of it tbh!😬

I do much the same as you and brush my teeth once I have eaten, it definitely stops me from snacking too. Love the mailbag once a month that would be great. Might be an idea for you to add some aquafaba info into your new cookbook as that would be good especially for newbies. You usually throw the odd bit of advice in your cooking videos too which is good, so please keep doing that too. Oh and my pronunciation of pasta is pass sta, but I would never have even noticed. We all have different accents so I just go with the flow. Thanks again for a great video.

Hi Jeremy love your videos! I just love your humor and you're just so much fun to watch. I also live in Canada in Ontario. I have a question for you. Out of all the wfpb books that you have reviewed and cooked from, if someone would ask you what is the one book that you would try to save running out of a burning house what cookbook would it be? Thank you for your honest answer. And if you have two books then so be it. Lol😊

Um....maybe I missed it but I don't think you actually answered the question of when did your tastebuds change? You definitely answered the part about satiety but not about when your tastebuds changed.....and by that I am assuming the person might have meant like when did you not like things full of sugar or really started enjoying the wfpb meals etc.. Here's a question I would ask.....do you think you'd find it more difficult to be wfpb if you worked outside your home fulltime (I think I have heard you mention that you work from home a lot of the time), in terms of having food ready or meal prep. I have to admit I find it far more time consuming having to cook almost everything from scratch or having to make parts of it separately (for example, making your own mayo and then using that to make potato salad). Love your videos.

Interesting that you say to take animals into the Humane Society. In the US, most rescue organizations won’t accept owner-surrendered animals. I have three cats that were abandoned and couldn’t place them anywhere except local animal control (a kill shelter). So we just kept them. The original owners may not have had a choice. I bet Canada dues a better job with spay and neuter laws and programs.
@pbwithjeremy7 сағат бұрын
In Canada you can surrender animals at humane societies. They're in most cities. Hard to say the situation because all we know is she was tired up to the front door when someone came in to start their shift at 6am. Poor thing must have been there alone most of the night :(
