Check out our first vlog and our first trip to Japan!
Sarah and I have a rough start to our trip to Japan, we thought we will be taking a direct business class flight to Tokyo from Toronto, but an unexpected snow storm cancelled our flight and we were changed to a 1 stop flight to Tokyo on economy!
We end up getting to Tokyo later at night after a 24 hour duration!
No worries, I still got my Udon noddles!
We started off the day by catching our flight from Toronto Canada where it started to snow out of no where! As usual in Canada, our flight got cancelled and we were rebooked on a separate flight heading to Vancouver and from there to TOKYO!
We arrived in Tokyo late in the evening and by the time we exchanged our money and went through customs, it was pretty late.
Great tip! If you land in Narita Airport, be sure to use the Narita Express, a one way ticket will cost you about $35 USD and will take you to Tokyo Station or Shinjuku Station, depending on where your hotel/airbnb is. If you have a JR pass, it allows you to ride the Narita Express as part of the pass which is great!
Finally we end up at our hotel which was located in Ginza, a really nice shopping area close to the popular fish market :)
I am now starving and craving my first real food experience in Japan. We ended up walking around Ginza and located this great late night Udon/Soba Noodle restaurant right off the main street in Ginza. It was open until 3 AM and a lot of local people and salarymen were enjoying some late night Udon and tempura.
Sarah got the regular Udon noodle with Tempura and I wanted to try the Udon noodle with Egg and Tofu skin (yuba)
This did not disappoint, make sure to slurp your noodles loud and proud, that is how the chef knows you like the food.
Thanks for watching and make sure to subscribe.

Mohammad Sajjad Salaam Bro! Jazakallah, I am glad you liked it. That’s a perfect time to go visit because the cherry blossoms will be in bloom in Tokyo! Let me know if I can help with your trip and if you got questions :)

Mohammad Sajjad that’s awesome congrats you will love Japan. How long are you traveling in Japan? We travelled for 15 days so we can space things out. The JR pass is useful if you are going to visit More than 3 cities. It’s expensive but you will save money. You just have to make sure you activists at the right time. I knew I wanted to see Tokyo MJ Fuji, Osaka and Kyoto. From there we decided to do day trips to nara and fly to okinawa. We didn’t get to go to Hiroshima. I googled differences 15 day itineraries and then built my own. A lot of people do Tokyo, day trip to nikko then go to hakone then Kyoto Osaka nara and Hiroshima. Hakone is nice but really far from MJ Fuji and expensive, we loved kawaguchico. Once you let me know how many days you are in Japan I can give you different itinerary. We avoided the north cause it’s cold and snowy in April.

Mohammad Sajjad Mashallah that is awesome! Ok so definitely I suggest these cities: Tokyo, kawaguciko or Hakone, Kyoto, Osaka and Nara. Tokyo will have the cherry blossoms blooming so you gotta hit up yoyogi Park for sure and ueno they were my favorite for the blossoms. I’ll send you more info on what to do in Tokyo. I would spend from Mar 30 - Apr 2. Tokyo to Hakone or Kawaguciko there are a lot of private onsens, kawaguchio has a better view of Mt Fuji April 3 leave to Kyoto or Osaka. You can either stay in Kyoto or Osaka and do day trips to Nara. We stayed in Osaka and visited Nara and Kyoto but you could easily stay in Kyoto and visit Nara and Kyoto with the train You really need at least 1 day in each Osaka Kyoto and Nara. Leave Back to Tokyo by April 7 and stay one more night in Tokyo and see stuff you didn’t get to see. I would do the JR pass and activate it on April 2 so you get a full week of use. Costs around $250 usd per person. Let me know if this works. If it is too much you can skip Nara or mt Fuji depends which one you really want to see. After I’ll help you plan what to do in each city and which area to stay in
