From my experience in school, most students are night owls. I'm the opposite. I love waking up at the crack of dawn and commuting as early as possible. Early in the morning, the landscapes are amazing. In my country, nights are a bit dangerous and you're prone to be robbed and suffer chronic injuries. I'd better live in peace.

I'm a medical student, and although I know that a night owl has more risks of chronic diseases than an early bird, I still am a night owl. Because I have to learn a big knowledge from medical university, I don't have time and I can't wake up in the early morning. It seems to be so fun when a doctor advises patients don't sleep too late, the doctor does it oppositely.

However, I am gradually addicted to social media, like TikTok and Facebook, so I almost stay up late every single day. I realized that I was deteriorating in health. Even though staying up late is prone to some chronic diseases, I still think I can do my work more effectively and creatively at late nights. It may sound a bit ironic, but it works for me ! Besides, I reckon that being a night owl or an early bird may not be as considerable as assuring that you have adequate 7-8 hours of sleeping for a day. For those whose jobs require to work at night such as flight attendants or doctors, their biological clock must be flexible.

I'd like to sleep early. But plan is pretty easier than acting. Right now it's 2:51PM in Korea. I should get a sleep. and unfortunately it's so hard to get a sleep when I decide to do it. I think late nights is prone to break routine of the day. Usually people have their own routine in a day, which is usually decided by society. From the past, people get up early because of the sun, which was the only light in the world. And until now, society follow this rules. So, the point is that late nights is harmful.
