Thanks for putting out these videos! I have finally been able to catch fish on the Boise with shrimp, no big ones though. I started fly fishing about 2 years ago, and I still still fly fish the Boise river. I feel like catching fish on the fly is more rewarding, but I always bring shrimp with me now as well because fly fishing can be hit or miss. Thanks and I hope to meet you out there at some point!

New sub here bro I use to catch a lot of small Fish with my fly rods,switched to only using marabou jigs….and all I catch is monsters 🎣 You mainly use shrimp?make a setup video!

I have a handful of set up videos on our other channel OLD HAT OUTDOORS and some on here as well. It’s very simple as it’s just a small size 8 salmon egg hook, a split shot (different sizes for different flows) and 6lb mono.

I actually have only fished once since they have stocked steelhead and not in areas that I normally catch them. I'm hoping I'll get out some this week to try to catch a few!

Usually just cooked salad shrimp. That's it!
