I live fairly close to Folsom and had no idea about the variety of catfish in the lake. Very informative.

I'm a recent subscriber, I watched your Amador video and this one, great on describing Channel Catfish vs White Catfish or White Bullheads. I used to own a catfish farm and you are spot on, on your assessment of how these fish hunt and in the various locations. Pro tip, if you ever get stun by a Catfish barb, rub the catfish slime on the area and the pain will go away quickly. Hope to see you fishing sometime in the future!

Have never caught a White Cat at Folsom, only Channels. I fish the trees with chicken liver without a weight and have done very well there. Can you get herring from the Asian market?

The lake I fish doesn’t have any inflows on outflows. The lake is ground water fed.
