America fundamentally is a Hollywood B-movie in real life. Americans (and lately even every Westerner) will say they want a boring politician. But deep down they love Trump. All of them. Even the liberals and progressives. Because he is entertaining. Three observations of mine: 1.) the German chancellor, Olaf Scholz, who you probably don‘t even know anything about, is often criticized for being „too boring/bland“. Even though people say that‘s exactly what they want in a politician. And yet when someone IS actually like that it‘s seen as something negative. 2.) Colin Jost, one of the hosts of SNL, did a lie detector test and when asked about whether he wants another Trump term, he replied „No“, but the detector said it was a lie. Now I don‘t think he is a secret conservative. Rather, he is a comedian and he knows that Trump is great for comedy. 3.) the ratings for Colbert, Meyers, etc. have gone through the roof after 2016. People love to be enraged. In short: Americans want Trump. Not everyone knows that consciously. But in the end, you want him. You NEED him for your entertainment. And you deserve him. Every bad thing that Project 2025 brings, you american people deserve.

Seth handled this interview with humour and integrity. I appreciate how he did not ask leading questions. There were no cheap laughs leveled at Biden. This situation is a bomb ready to go off. Context: Shirley Chisholm announced she was running in January 1972 and she did stay in the race until.the end, she ended up with 152 delegates. The nomination went to George McGovern. Chisholm was not the first woman of color to run for president. 5 months earlier, Congresswoman Patsy Takamoto Mink began her run for the Democratic nomination. She only appeared on the ballot in a handful of mostly western states before she ended her run.

This is how he can stay in power. He must admit that any President does not actually do much to run the government. Most of the government is run by the Cabinet Secretaries. Instead of his nominating speech, he should bring out each member of the cabinet and have them explain what they do and what their vision is for their department. Then have them compared to what Trump has used for these positions. That is where the quality difference is stark.
