Many in other countries are incredibly saddened and horrified by the situation facing ordinary American people on a daily basis. It has been a struggle for all of us during this global pandemic and we have all had to make sacrifices but at least we had united leadership giving us a consistent clear message on what needed to be done, who were willing to let medical experts take front stage and who were genuinely motivated to minimise the impact whilst balancing it with plans for a sustainable economic future. People were frustrated but eventually most realised we needed to work together in order to succeed. I hope there will be better times soon for you.

Ageism is almost as rampant as racism, although there was a time when mature views and life experience were valued and sometimes even referred to as "wisdom." Equating "elderly" (whatever age you mean by that) with "incompetent" or "old-fashioned" is like equating an evolved human being, who supports the Constitution of the U.S. and the health, well-being, and safety of all people who inhabit the U.S. and its territories with anyone who holds the the office of U.S. President, however faulty the system that got him there.
