@carlosadeleon3 жыл бұрын
This is the best version of "Yes, and" I have ever seen. I don't think they intended to play the game, but improv people ARE ALWAYS READY TO PLAY THE GAME. As soon as Seth pitched the idea of a list, Amy was not just game, but ready to go. The key here for people who don't know improv rules is that at no point do they say "no" to each other. Everything is accepted, no matter how ridiculous, and returned with a prompt. The moment that jumps out at me is at 5:30 when Amy starts asking a question "do you have any memories..." but then corrects herself with "I'm sure you have memories..." That's a great example of how to avoid prompting your partner with something that they "could" say "NO" - help them out by forcing them to respond with a "Yes." Everyone sees good chemistry and casual conversation, but I think it's important to note that it requires a lot of work and attention to remain this engaged in "ridiculousness." You have to be constantly actively listening to your partner, accept everything they give you, even when you are the one speaking your own ridiculousness. It's so much work and a sign of how good these two are that it looks effortless.
