Great skit. I love Myers reaction to everything. Mix of trying to humor David, and being welcoming, but getting increasingly annoyed. Everyone was having a lot of fun with the writing.

I don't think so. Much as I admire Larry David, this sketch jumps all his usual subtle leadup to meltdown. There's no comedy of embarrassment here really- his apologies , when they ocur, are clearly totally insincere. It's a one joke sketch about Larry pulling the shots. I'm English so some differences in comedy type but I still recognise how this is a very simplified version of his normal subtle complexity.

The first four minutes is like Greg Proops passive-aggressively interrupting Clive Anderson on the original UK Whose Line Is It Anyway, while accusing Clive of being the passive aggressive one and telling Clive to keep moving the show onward since he "shan't quibble" but continuing to talk back when Clive gives him shade. It happens almost constantly 😂
