Once, at the airport when he was coming out of the bathroom, I said, "Hi Larry" . I said it like I knew him. He turned around and looked at me and grunted. It made my day.

Oh wow! I am so touched: His critical parents, his consequent self-doubt and low self-esteem, his increasing anger and frustration with the morons in his life, and people in general, his lifting out of the abyss that he was in by a seemingly mysterious hand. I am totally touched. He even checked out places for himself in New York in case he was going to end up homeless. But his destiny/God/Creator/ made sure he was forced to use his talents. I'm not envious of his success or money, I just wish I had someone guiding me in this life to discover and use my God given talents. I suppose we're all here for different purposes. Great video, totally loved the speech.

I understand Larry David. Then I met a few Asperger people and understood them too. Then, I was diagnosed with Asperger's in my later 30s. It answered a lot of questions. It explained a lot. I, too, have a grammar obsession and I hate the misuse of the word "you." You is the second person, direct sense. It-the word "you"-is not a substitute for "me," "I," "us," "we" and so on. The word "you" is not a substitute for any group of people or individuals and should only be used in the singular form.

The man should write books. He got such a way with words. Very articulate. Also, very humble, down to earth and grateful by acknowledging the people that helped him.

So now I know where that episode where george's mother was pressuring george to be a postman. It was larry's own experience with his mother.

Doesn’t Jerry’s mom tell him something similar?

Oh, I think Curb is a million times funnier than Seinfeld ever was. So does my entire family. I loved Seinfeld when it was on, but as the years have gone by, I have found it to be less funny. Curb can make me a little uncomfortable, because Larry's character is so annoying, but I also find it hysterical. Oh well, different tastes, I guess.

I agree with you. Seinfeld is super funny. It's also about 4 characters. Not to mention that jerry Seinfeld had turned into an arse after cashing the big cheques. Curb is hilarious, and the show is about Larry only.
