@@christystainer3741 It’s a daring choice for Seth to invoke the concept of corporate redundancy at a time when the show is experiencing noticeable cutbacks and layoffs (ie: the longer and more frequent hiatuses and the impending loss of the 8G Band). I’m sure it’s meant purely as a joke in the face of those hardships, but it would be a tragedy if either Jenny (who was the originator of the “Jokes Seth Can’t Tell” concept) or Amber (who has already experienced severe cutbacks in the form of The Amber Ruffin Show being put on indefinite hiatus) were to lose even more job security as a result. I wish the bean counters of the world would learn to view redundancies in the workplace the way engineers do in a mechanism, as failsafes that ensure it’s continued optimal functioning and not just a costly liability. Sadly though, that’s not where priorities lie in the corporate mindset nowadays. 😞

I got a short glimpse of John Stewart’s notes when he was trying for the second week in a row to rip apart them in indignation but couldn’t because of his weak fingers, or if we are to believe him, the notes are made of Kevlar. Based on this line of reasoning, Seth himself, as a celebrity, has several hundred baby teeth.

I like that there is a bag in the vault that is labeled “Late Night Hosts” just all mixed together hahaha. This is actually my first time ever commenting but I’ve been watching since day one and truthfully, Corrections’ is a favorite of mine and something that helped me a great deal on Fridays mornings. Fridays can be a truly difficult day for me from time to time as I am an alcoholic in active recovery (4+ years) and Fridays can be triggering. That said, this thing you’ve created is funny, at least to me, and also oddly inspiring because it feels genuine. You can really, really see that Seth is doing this for the art and not the money… because the money must be terrible lol but watching him break after calling Andy was priceless. Fun side note: While “Corrections” is great for my sobriety… “Day Drinking With” not so much lmfao

God almighty, I adore Seth and this unhinged adventure SO. DAMN. MUCH!!!! I'm choosing to believe that my comment about the pronunciation of "mummy-fied" is one of the ones that he saw, because even though I saw after the fact that other people mentioned it, too, I need the joy in my life that comes from thinking that my jackal work is seen by Seth. Also, I fully cackled at Seth's delight at hanging up on Andy. Obviously the person who watched all of the Corrections videos and reported back "Don't" either has a Sahara-level dry sense of humor, or they don't understand humor at all, and will never understand the incandescent joy that they are missing out on that comes with being a true jackal and reveling in the inside jokes and the all-around goofiness! From the bottom of my heart, thank you for always giving this jackal joy and hope!

I just want to also point out that if you could use that joy right after your redundancy comment, especially drawing circles in the air, your Christophe Waltz impression would finally be differentiated from your Werner Herzog impression in a defining physical and emotional ways. Herzog is just noticing things and talking about them, Waltz is almost giddy and almost so excited he could jump put of his chair in most of his roles. I think Seth had been waiting to make that joke for a while, the pure excitement and joy on his face and in the laughter of the crew made the past couple weeks better. Stay awesome guys and gals.

@@biligator In my imagination, Baze (a person I don't know, have never met, and have no frame of reference for any quality of life beyond knowing he's a writer) goes out to some full on metal venue at one in the morning, gets downright $#!+faced on scotch, then deliberately writes the worst lines he can on the backs of coasters & jamming them in his pocket (to rediscover in the morning) before being kicked out for smoking a joint the length of a table tennis paddle - waving his fists in the air the whole time, yelling at the sky "I'll show _YOU_ a bad joke, Meyers".. Like I said though, I don't know him.. Which could mean.. Ok.. I may be projecting here.. I should probably write this down😂🤣✌️
