Walk the walk don't just talk about it. And make the beaucracy effecient -modernize to cut cost- reduce headcount. Stop killing environment by flying everywhere. I did dual enrollment and my first college professor was a nightmare to work with and I was homeschooled my whole life so I didn’t know the etiquette. One time I went to his office to submit a late assignment and said “hey” to get his attention because he didn’t notice me coming in. He responded, and I quote, “HEY!!??? *HEY!!!?!??” With a look of absolute fury on his face, a vein was popping out of his neck and I’m pretty sure if he’d had a lighter complexion he would have turned red. I responded “yeah, sorry for impinging on your solitude. I have the paper you wanted.” He said, “*thank you*” through gritted teeth and I responded, “no problem” before walking out of his office and then running back to my mom. I literally responded to my 50+ year old professor like he was my tweenage autistic brother because that was my reflex to somebody being mad I was in his room. I was scared but I didn’t dignify the bad behavior with a reaction until I knew he couldn’t see me. I know 17 is a lot older than 12, but the guy still seemed to expect me to fold and then didn’t have a plan B for steady eye contact and cold sarcasm in the face of sudden rage.
