There’s something about the way the writing and her acting perfectly capture anxiety, loneliness, and depression - sometimes it feels like a mirror. The scene where she’s crying along after going back for the dog only to learn it was already taken… my heart broke open.

I dont just like that show, I LOVE it. When you meet people who like it - you know they're good people you can be friends with. I found the show by accident, and gave it a couple of episodes trying to figure out what it was. By then I was captivated, and more emotionally invested in this show than I have been in a long time. Thank you Bridget for this one. Cant wait to see you more.

When we heard that there was going to be a show set here in the other Manhattan we were nervous that it would be cringe. But what a delight that it is so touching and hilarious. I live in Topeka. It was so nice to get great scenes with Manhattan and Kansas in the background! We're not a flyover state. You can truly watch a beautiful sunrise and sunset without obstruction. The show? I watched it twice and I wish there were more seasons!!!

This woman is such a force! I remember seeing her on Seinfeld’s comedians in cars getting coffee and on Amy Schumer’s Trainwreck. When somebody somewhere was being advertised as being a new show coming to HBO I made sure to remember it! It is a comfort show for me. I still have not watched the final episode because I’m so sad it has ended but I have rewatched all the other episodes over and over. To me every season got better and better. Anyhow the show has ended and I now hope and pray for 2 things in the near future …that Bridget Everett will have a lead role in another movie/tv show and that she will bring her live cabaret show to San Francisco!
