I think there are many of us who have been experiencing unbridled private laughter during all of Seth's quarantine shows who now have a grudging sense of superiority because we get bits that fly right over the heads of the studio audience. We're thinking "well alright, if you must be here, atleast don't mess up the vibe we've been enjoying." I've been watching this week with the cringing fear that the magic would be gone, but so far, so good. 👍 (The sound effect gags tonight were brilliant!) With that being said, I can't wait for our private time with Seth on Friday for Crrxnz!!

I started watching Seth regularly around the beginning of the pandemic, and nothing has brought me such comfort and made me smile in the last two years like Seth has managed to, tapping into the silly humor my brain needs right now while also talking about news in a way that doesn't feel so hopeless, and without making me feel crazy for thinking it can't be normal. Seth, Wally, Shoemaker, and everyone: Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. You all rock, and you've helped my mental and emotional well-being so much the last two years.

If there's one thing positive to say about covid, it's that it brought this show to new heights and has certainly helped the show carve out a niche for itself. Bravo!

@@sanityisrelative You know, I almost commented as much! Craig Ferguson and Seth Meyers are now shoulders to shoulders, despite very diiferent styles and content of course! I often re-watch Craig's monologue about Britney Spears, his fits of laughter while reading emails and going back and forth with Geoff (....Beads!) and of course, there is the poll when 1 billion Canadians said that out of all late night tv talk show hosts, it is Craig they would want to sleep with (I'm laughing just thinking about it).
