Seth has quietly become the most endearing host on late night TV, and the writers and staff are second to none. He's also clearly the best interviewer going these days. The show's no-frills approach is exceptionally refreshing.

I can't believe I'm saying this.....but I'm 100% on board with the audience being back. Seth & Co are hitting it out of the park with an audience. Keeping all the charm and coziness of the no-audience...era. Not acting like "ok...now things are difference. time to get serious...we have an audience now." The mistakes and flopped jokes are honestly JUST AS funny as anything else, mostly because Seth is such a naturally funny person. He's a master at rolling with it....and turning any outcome into comedy. I always liked this show...but it's kind of amazing how GOOD it's become over the past year and a half. A full order of magnitude better. I hope Seth...and the crew...and the network....all realize this. I know I'm not remotely alone in my opinion.

@@franksmith8271 I just posted a rather long comment detailing some of the glaringly obvious mistakes in the CC captions. It's plain to see that they used artificial "intelligence" for at least this segment's CC. I do this for a living and it's painful to read what AI or voice recognition does to CC captions. AI will never get it right because they are not humans. And yeah, this is a pre-recorded show so there was plenty of time for someone to proofread the garbage that AI spit out. If I'm wrong and it was a human doing the CC captions, then they need to fire that human, lol.

I think there are many of us who have been experiencing unbridled private laughter during all of Seth's quarantine shows who now have a grudging sense of superiority because we get bits that fly right over the heads of the studio audience. We're thinking "well alright, if you must be here, atleast don't mess up the vibe we've been enjoying." I've been watching this week with the cringing fear that the magic would be gone, but so far, so good. 👍 (The sound effect gags tonight were brilliant!)
