Tyler sang at the very end that all he wanted was for all of them to leave him alone was so EVIL & VILE. We saw the cute pictures and assumed feelings behind them and here he was telling us that basically he had no feelings for these kids that he fathered😢.

You know it’s a challenge to post more. Honestly, I can be honest and respond to this comment and say that I a lot of times, I’m confused about what to post. I know people don’t always agree with my viewpoints. So commentary is tough. I tend to not see the same thing in situations as everybody else sees. My perspective is different and that’s not always popular so it doesn’t always get the views so sometimes it’s not even worth me responding to certain situations. Also, I sort of don’t know what else people would want to watch on this channel. And so, it makes it difficult to know what videos to even put out. So good months, are months like last month with a show that everybody’s watching and I can give my commentary on it even though it’s not gonna be what everybody else sees or what everybody else is thinking about the show but it gives me consistent content ideas and I know hey someone might watch. But honestly, I’m at a loss for what people would watch and so it brings me a little bit of trepidation whenever I think about making a new video cause I’m like “would they even care about that?” Posting for me is like gambling. I never know what’s gonna end up being worth my time And that’s a kind of frustrating. So I try and post as much as I can but like I said, it’s like gambling and I don’t like to gamble. I hate casinos actually lol.

@@hellostephco84 Yeah, I know it's rough, but how else are you gonna find your true audience? I don't make videos, but from what of seen of small creators, consistency brings the best results. Michele McDaniel is a good example, her channel use to be called "My Thoughts Will Probably Offend You" and she stuck to her guns, now she's almost at a million subs. I don't think finding a niche` really works anymore, creators just have to be will to ride the ebb and flow of the subscribers until it reaches equilibrium. I say post what you want to post and the haters be damnned.
@hellostephco84
@hellostephco84 Сағат бұрын
@@JubeiKibagamiFezI know her!!! I know exactly what you mean. Good point! And I don’t think people are haters per se, I just think they don’t agree so that means they don’t enjoy it like they would if they agreed. Opposite viewpoints are cool, but it feels better to the brain when someone is affirming your feelings, thoughts or experiences. When that’s not happening, listening to them can feel like work and people already work too hard lol they watch videos to have fun! So I don’t think it’s hate always, but you’re right, it’s definitely a “refining” experience for sure.

I hear what you are saying about Ashley trying to be a proverbs 31 woman. However, besides Tyler not being the kind of man that should be receiving that covering from a proverbs 31 woman, wouldn't a P31 woman guide a man to do good? As in NOT CONDONE the abandonment of three children? Additionally, the coldness she exhibited with her half-brother reaching out to her told me all I needed to know. Which makes me believe that she is not convicted in the faith as she and Tyler claim. I think they are cosplaying and should respectfully leave God out of it.

Thank you! People use "growing up in the church" as a slippery, worldly synonym for *Christian,* which it is NOT. Growing up in a dealership doesn't make you a Chrysler. And first 10 verses of proverbs 31 are written to A MAN (a king specifically) "Do not pervert justice for all the afflicted" Tyler, those children should not grow up and seek justice from you 😢
@hellostephco84
@hellostephco84 4 сағат бұрын
I think that’s hard when so much of black culture is the black church. I think that’s part of the reason why the dear future wife podcast is so popular because he plays into two huge themes within the black community, which are: relationships and singlehood, and God specifically the Christian God. I think if he was just a relationship podcast, he wouldn’t be as popular, but it’s that combination of relationships and Christianity. That’s so many people in the black community can identify with. Ashley reminds me of a lot of women that I know who are raised that way, and in the Christian religion, they cannot help but to see things through that lens because that’s how they were raised. So they’ll never leave God out of it because people tend to use their belief systems to justify everything that they do in life. That’s why a couple of years ago. The deconstruction movement was so popular, because it was the first time that a lot of people were looking out their lives and their religion, outside of what they had been taught. And thinking for themselves. I’m not saying people can’t and shouldn’t continue up in the way that they were raised, but in a situation like this, you do need to have enough of a critical mind to ask yourself “is God even in this or am I pulling him into this because this is how I was raised to think and I’m not used to thinking critically by myself?“
@tiarac8917
@tiarac8917 8 минут бұрын
@@hellostephco84that’s really great point about the critical thinking because something I’m noticing in pop culture more now is using God or misquoted scripture as a scapegoat or a bypass to self reflection and behavioral improvement instead of as correction as it’s intended. I like that you brought the Proverbs 31 scripture as a barometer for a man too because it also says the husband is known and respected in the gates which to me sounds like he has a good name and good reputation and this rabbit hole of lies that emerged from that first hiding of the children was a bad sign from the start.

@hellostephco84
@hellostephco84 4 сағат бұрын
I think he said those things to him, to try and give him some damn self-esteem. Tyler sounds like he didn’t have any self-esteem. No positive ideas about his life and his legacy. And no grounding ideas about himself as a man. So in my opinion, Laterras saying that to him was like someone saying “hey remember you’re great!” but you’re saying it to someone who really is not displaying those characteristics. You’re trying to get them to see themselves in a different light so they start to move different. I don’t think Laterras really thinks he’s a king. Especially not after getting more information from Ricky and Jesse and hearing the man say out of his own mouth he had no attachment to his biological children. I think Laterras is a counselor and a coach at heart so he’s trying to just get him to change his mindset about himself so hopefully his actions will look different.

Smh sometimes your perspective is so off Steph... When he said he wants 'that family' to leave him alone, it's clear he was referring to Bri, 'her' kids and her mom. They are the only family we know of and have been talking about all along. I believe in giving a person grace but he obviously doesn't deserve it here. The children he conceived with Bri don't fit into his ideal view on what family looks like for him, so he has detached himself from them. He found something newer and shinier and wants to build a family with Ashley. There's no reason to look into how Bri navigates her romantic relationships. That doesn't absolve him of his parental responsibility. That would be the same as saying that if he and her were in a committed relationship and she moved on into a heterosexual relationship, that it would be okay for him to say, 'okay, she has a man, she doesn't need me anymore. I relinquish my role/rights as a father.' Consentual sex led to her getting pregnant. She doesn't have the 'option' to be a parent to her children, so why should he? Regardless of who their new romantic partners are, they share children and should BOTH chip in to be PARENTS.
@hellostephco84
@hellostephco84 4 сағат бұрын
I don’t agree with you. I got something else from it and I justified what I got. That doesn’t make me off it means I got something else from the interview. Also, I think people have an issue. If something isn’t stated exactly like they would say it, they assume the person is saying something opposite of what they’re saying. I just read your entire response to me and at one point did I ever say anything different than what you’re saying in the video. All I said was, I think when he said that family, he meant Bri and everything that comes with being associated with Bri. And at the end of the video, I said he’s not the first person to not like the person he had a baby with, and not like the realities of having a baby with that individual, but that doesn’t excuse his behavior. We need to learn that just because someone doesn’t state something exactly as we would, or they pick up something different from a conversation, It doesn’t mean they’re disagreeing or they don’t think the same thing as we think. It also doesn’t mean, that they are “off”. It just means they stated it differently. Also, these kinds of conversations are never productive. If when someone gives their perspective, they are seen as being “off“ instead of just looking at the situation from a different way. There is a difference.
@compostingbin
@compostingbin 2 сағат бұрын
@hellostephco84 I'm allowed to view your perspective as 'off' if I think that objectively most people would view the subject a particular way. Half the time I dont agree with your opinion but I still enjoy your videos because of your fresh perspective. This one, I had to say something about. I mentioned his parental responsibility in relation to his feelings about Bri and her sexuality because you touched on how she moves in relationships. That just isn't a thing. Why are we dissecting parts of this lady's life that have nothing to do with his responsibility as a father? Since you're giving me advice, let me give you some - you should be focusing on the crux of the matter. Everything else is a distraction.

I don’t think I’m giving him grace. I just don’t think I am advocating that he be tossed off the highest building, now that I kind of understand what a mess he was in his 20s, and I understand what he was hanging around, I’m surprised he didn’t get more women pregnant honestly, and I don’t think we know enough about the real situation with him and Bri. All these additional interviews, are letting me know that once again we might be responding as social media to a situation and we don’t have all the details. I think the only thing we can all agree on is that he needs to be financially responsible for those kids because he made thembut all of the other hate that I had for him in this storyline before I watched this interview, kind of went away when I saw that he was just really really really messy around some really messy folks and it started to make more sense to me how they all got in this situation.

Great commentary! I believe the Laterras interview style did not work for the Tyler interview specifically, because it’s obvious that Tyler has had yes men his whole entire life, adding one to the mix is only an ego boost and a cause to keep lying. A good interviewer would have took that baby shower question and asked well “was there any other place or event that they could have been talking about?” Something so simple could have gave him more credibility, instead of seeming like he was coddling him.

All Bryan McLight (as Jessi Woo calls him) had to do was to say I Have 3 kids, and let Ashley decide if she wanted to be with him or not... but No, his messy behind decided to Lie about how he messed around with another woman (who just happened to be gay). As a mother, Bri had to come out and defend their Children that He decided he no longer wanted to be involved in. He put them in Harms way, their mother came to their defense. Ashley has dug up so deep that at this point she deserves all the crap he has put her through. Latteris gave him a safe space for him to continue lying and he meant what He meant "I want That family to go away"... and he meant Bri and Her children. He can Go, but the court will deem him responsible for kids he conceived naturally and that he has custody for. Let him have what's coming to him‼️‼️
