Latest design of the 3D Printed Bee Feeder with an inner honeycomb structure. This was 3D Printed using a CR10S printer and PLA Plastic. The wind blew it off the fence post at one point and broke it on the concrete. The bees don't seem to mind at all though. I'm not sure exactly how many honey bees there were on the feeder but there is approximately 130 inside holes. My guess would be 250 - 350 Bees.

So a design upgrade for you, make this into a float for a barrel or even an interlocking piece for a tub without the open sides. This would be of great help to bee keepers.

I was planning on making this a floating platform for a 5 gallon bucket for bee keeper feeders! Only problem with a 5 gallon bucket is: the bottom is smaller diameter than the top so there would be a gap around the feeder and bucket wall near the top, which means bees would drown. I have a couple idea to solve that issue though

@@DoogieLabs Slant the side walls to match the bottom measurements. This should give you the fit you are looking for. The bucket is like a funnel so you have the width of a bee (1/2 on both sides to play with which will be more than enough room. To allow it to slide up and down in the barrel. If you give it a set of legs then it will rest above the deck and also keep the bees safe if this does not work.
