Overdramatic. We have had a lot of anti-cyclonic weather already this winter and whilst yes a more typical dry cold February looks on the card projecting is suck it and see this time of year as the sun gains strength. No mention on approaching the nadir of sea temperatures that would increase the chance of snow showers.

This will probably not happen. Something will happen in America strengthen the Jet Stream and we will have mild and windy or cool and showery rain, unfortunately. Just never happens any more.
