Our country is at a crossroads moving from a Representative Democracy to a Monarchical/ Oligarchy (think Ferdinand Marcos 1965-86). 1. Full presidential immunity (No Criminal sanction - Loss of Rule of Law) 2. No Public corruption safeguards ("Gratuity" functionally indistinguishable from taking a bribe) 3. Loss of federal agency oversight (judicial opinion replacing Federal expert oversight).
