Hi Lee, Great video and review of the Diatone SNT FPV Car. These are great for the little one in the family. Unfortunately I have carpet and the only room with tile is frequently visited. I remember when I was younger, I had a car that had a cable to the remote. How have toys changed. Thanks again for the video and information.

I would love one of these with larger wheels to run on any surface typically found in a home...

Hey JohnnyD, search for how to make a servo rc car. 😉 I'm going to build one with one of those yellow geared motors... You know?

Hi Lee I have a TinyGo kit with Gr8 transmitter and box goggles. Do you think there's any chance that I could drive this car with either or both? I wanted to do 'nose in driving ' as practice for flying my TinyGo. Thanks for another great video Nigel

Can this car bind to the 4in1 module in the radiomaster TX16?
@Painless3602 жыл бұрын
I believe others have got that working.. Best of luck

I want one of these but they need to offer the car and remote with no goggles there is no option for that on aliexpress you can only get the non fpv car and remote combo. I own my own fatsharks so I don’t want to pay for some goggles that will go in the bin

Order directly from Diatone and you can select what items you want. I have also found that it works with a 4in1 module so I have used my radiomaster tx16s with it. so if you dont mind having a proper car tx you can just use your quad tx.

Hey Lee, do you know, if these cars are compatible with the turbo racing remotes? Nice Review, as always :-)

Hii, I'm new in the RC hobby, I'd like to fly long/mid range fpv planes, what do you think about the zhod GT rebel and the atomcr dolphin, which is the best one in you opinion? Thx for your time

What do you consider as long range?
@davidedamiani53312 жыл бұрын
Around 20 km (?)
@Painless3602 жыл бұрын
So total flight distance of about 42km (with a little extra for initial launch etc.). Assuming a cruise of about 50 Kph (about 31mph) that would mean you'd have to be in the air for around 50 minutes to cover that range easily. You need to look at the average current that that speed then figure out if you can fit a battery of that size into it. See my videos about that model and motor and prop calculations. If we assume that it pulls 8 amps and you need 50 mins of flight time then you need a battery that will provide about 9,600 mAh with a little extra as you never want to discharge below 80%. So you need a 11.52Ah pack. That is a LOT of battery. Models that are more efficient pull less so need a smaller pack. That is why I cover the cruise current in my reviews now.. Best of luck

I would like you to put it on the bad side. I ordered 6 of these cars (by mistake RTR, not FPV) but I broke the firsts just because I gave it to my daughter and she was just checking if it rolls. i.e. she made the rear wheels spinning. She is 7, but I am 53, and I would do the same. About the 6 it is because I wanted to run a little event with kids. This product is not for kids :(

very disappointed with this car always pulling to the right and at high speed it goes into a spin to the right even if i have trimmed it out. Diatone has been helpful but says this is meant to happen, which i dont think so
@Painless3602 жыл бұрын
Mine doesn't pull to the right but does lose traction easily... Best of luck

@@Painless360 when it losses traction does it spin out?
@Painless3602 жыл бұрын
It does - as shown in the pirouettes on the wooden floor in the video. Careful throttle is needed..
