Also while this is great for Lakers future, if Lakers run well post Dr Buss Feb 2013 dying then right now Lakers legit title team with Kyrie, Zubac, Caruso already on team (and woulda been last 3-4 yrs too)! Whether that’s around AD Bron or Luka Bron! Better to be lucky than good sure, but this doesn’t excuse the many horrific moves Lakers have made under the Busses/Magic/Pelinka the last decade! No FO ever close to perfect, but outside of 19-20 20-21 legit championship level rosters they’ve OBJECTIVELY been run horrifically on the whole (after being amazingly run on the whole late 70s to early 2010s). He turns 32 next month and will be one of few players EVER to be 6x All NBA and 6X all NBA defense (All D didn’t exist pre early 80s, but still) by 32 yrs old! 4X 1st team All NBA already and 3x 1st team all nba D already is rare for someone by 31. He’s going to be 17th-23rd all time in WinShares and VORP before turning 32 yrs old too ahead of other greats like Hakeem Durant Curry Pippen Kawhi Wade Isiah to name a few pre 32yrs old. Of players to play 500+ games AD’s 5th all time in PER (everyone in the top10 among the GOAT) and in Playoffs PER (minimum 50 games). PS that Lakers trade w/ Pacers givin Turner & Mathurin truly embarrassing level stuff that has ppl make fun on lakers fans on twitter. No don’t want Vooch either who is 34.5 when playoffs start and isn’t close to the shot blocker Myles Turner is. Pacers 3rd best record in NBA last 8 weeks and 4th best net rating!

i don't believe the Lakers have to do anything else this season. if they can get a really solid center that can set them up for the future, great, but stay put otherwise. there's an outside chance that Kyrie could join the Lakers next season

More likely bron opts out and takes way less money (since he can afford it more) to go to Mavs/Cavs/Knicks if they don’t add a legit big and 3&D players 6’3” to 6’7”.
