Great update! Michigan will always have a great RB room, I think Marshall will for sure end the year at RB3 and probably start next year. Extremely hyped for the night opener vs FSU, and I drove by the Big House a few days ago and saw the new banners and they look GREAT! GO BLUE!

Davis Warren..the kid is a fighter and the best choice at QB if Orji is going to be a runner only that's not going to cut it aQB has to be able to pass period.

I was reading somewhere that Michigan's first game starts before the first OSUx game. And, if we win, we will briefly take over best winning percentage all time among college football teams.
@millertimeast2 ай бұрын
I can already seeing them utilizing both Warren and orji. Warren I think will be the main starter, then sometimes they will sub in orji for red zone plays for easy read option touchdowns, or just sub him in randomly to keep the defense guessing
@mattdrewdrums2 ай бұрын
As i have been saying since DAY 1, Orji is not a starting QB and Warren has shown the most potential. It should be Warren as the starter and Orji as the special package guy.
@wonderboytroy74842 ай бұрын
Sounds like Davis Warren should be the QB and Alex should come in in spots to utilize his athleticism. Like Cade and JJ in 2021. If Davis is clearly the better QB and PASSER, then there is no question in my mind. Idc how big and fast you are if I can’t trust you to protect my ball or make 3rd down plays.
@adamsteele54972 ай бұрын
And what do you do when the play breaks down and you don't have an open receiver? I want a guy that can extend the play and make something happen not throw it away and lean on the defense tds win games not punts
@MichiganSportsTalk2 ай бұрын
@@wonderboytroy7484 We’ll see. I think Warren is probably the better passer, especially with deep balls, but Orji can be very explosive and give another element that the defense has to defend. The coaching staff will get it right, just find the guy that gives you the best chance to win games.

You keep hearing that Davis Warren being the all around passer but Alex Orji continues to impress. What is Orji doing that's impressive? Is he passing and running good? I want to know more info on Orji and what's impressive about him. Not talking down in him but all the other QBs get clear cut descriptions of what they are doing and Orjis description is bland.
@mattdrewdrums2 ай бұрын
That's an indication that he isn't passing the ball that well. It probably means he has a good sense of when to run and maybe, every once in a while, slings a nice ball downfield. He does have a big arm, apparently. But, yeah, it's clear he is DEFINITELY not the best passer.
@MichiganSportsTalk2 ай бұрын
@@Charm-313 He’s been good running and extending plays. As far as passing he can be a little inconsistent, but then there are times where he makes a throw that just wows people.
