Been screaming this from the rooftops. There’s always a chance that the volpe’s and well’s can improve offensively and sign league average bats.. but if you complete the DeathStar-ting rotation by signing burnes with how good the bullpen is looking.. good luck to whoever steps in the box against them.

Or buehler, or Sasaki. Trade Schmidt or rodon to someone desperate like blue Jays for bichette or vladdy jr. Might as well be trying to get Machado and king back if we're doing fantasy trades though.

​@@goyankees87You would have to try and trade Rodon. With how the Yankees are being more conservative financially, having 4 pitchers making $25 mil+ a year, is unlikely. But a Cole, Fried, Burnes, Gil, Schmidt rotation is filthy. Trading Rodon for a 1B/3B and also trading for Belli would be huge.

Brian Cashman said that Marcus Stroman could still have a role on this team, if he does stay. I don’t know if this team would do this, but I would call ATL about Ozzie Albies for Clarke Schmidt.

Schmidt is a Georgia guy too. He'd love to play there. I went to a Yankees/Braves game two years ago where Braves fans were wearing Schmidt jerseys to support the local guy.

Great collaboration with Hyde. When I first saw the red sox gear I was like "WHAT DA...." But he is good and knowledgeable in baseball , not just Redsox. It would be great to have more collaborations with the podcasters from other teams over the year. I still wish Yankee gives more opportunities to the younger players. They have ruined Andujar, Florial, Garcia..... let's hope they don't ruin Peraza or Pereira.

Arraez is a hitter only. While that's great, he can't run or field. Profar I'm not against, but he's no OF specialist either, but at least he's athletic. We need lefty guys who can provide offense and defense.

I do have a question about what Boston is doing. They have 3 very good outfielders and their tippy top prospect is an outfielder, I understand the interest in Teoscar and Santander because they need righties or switch hitters to balance the line up but it seems like to me if you’re gonna spend money it would be on a big pitcher not a guy adding to a strength and I think the only OF they’d trade is Abreu but he’s not bringing in a big SP, the centerfielder I know plays some middle infield too but I’m just not seeing the logic

@ I know this but that also doesn’t help much. They have Casas there, if they move him it be to put Devers at 1st. I doubt they would pay Santander to play 1st, keep Devers at 3rd, have bad defense at the corners while investing real money into an older player like Santander to get what exactly in return for Casas who has way more upside than Santander

@ I agree with that but instead of doing all that they can just spend on pitching or move Devers to first, Mayer can play 3rd and trade Casas for more pitching. Honestly I think their best play is just keep the core they have, they’ve built up a nice roster and if they’re gonna spend money just spend on pitching

@ there isn’t that much pitching to spend on it’s easier to trade for without giving up draft picks and IFA money. You could use your money to lockup the young core like Atlanta did
