It's been 3 years and they've gotten worse. My take is Joe Schoen instead of building on the success of making the playoffs in 2022 totally misjudged the roster. He got rid of the wrong guys and brought in the wrong guys thus we have what is considered by most as worst roster in the NFL. Brian Daboll is not this QB guru that everyone made him out to be because he worked with Josh Allen. And he couldn't get along with Wink Martindale so he brings in Shane Bowen who I didn't know who he was. I find out he was with the Titans but their defense was never all that great so ego really played a role in our defense bring worse than last year. It is mind blowing to me that we have a total of 2 interceptions and we still can't stop the run which was a big reason Bowen was brought here. John Mara has had trouble picking the right guys just like his father had trouble until Pete Rozelle stepped in and suggested he hire George Young. I don't see Roger Goodell doing that so John is going to have to make it work on his own. I would get rid of both of them but I'm not John Mara.

I don't think either of the QB's is worth the #1 or #2 draft pick. They have so many holes up and down the roster at almost every position, trade back, accumulate more picks, build the team that way, sign a veteran QB for next year. Look for a QB in the 2026 class. Whether the QB's are black, white, green or purple doesn't change that fact. When there isn't a "can't miss" QB in this draft, it would be stupid to reach for one. Reaching for a QB the last time set them back 6 years. Nobody said tank for 2 more seasons, either. You improve the team in the draft with the picks you acquire from trading back, which would be a wise move when you have so many needs on the roster. Get a veteran QB, which is a plan that has brought success for a number of teams this year. That isn't tanking. And then you address the long-term QB situation down the road.
