Hello! Do you know if you can add and play Taito Type X to Batocera, there are a couple of versions, having them on Batocera would be a blast.

I get the same message for the network and etc in daytona 2, but entering 6 or 7 or control F1, F2, F3 doesn't make it go into test mode to select the single or deluxe cabinet and get around the network issue. On the Star Wars triology it doesn' even load to main screen before I get a message "WAIT SETUP THIS FEEDBACK LEVER." then after a few seconds it comes back with " FAILD FEEDBACK LEVER INITIATE, POWER OFF AND RESTART THIS SYSTEM". Not sure if the roms are no good or if there's some workaround I'm not aware of.

In regards to the steam deck, Im currently on 35 from the main website, but I see you have a 36 beta on Batocera nation. Is there a big difference? How would you go from 35 to 36?

I have an issue,it seems the game run at 60hz but the game is in half speed on raspberry pi,like the game was duplicating frames any help to fix this issue? Im using batocera 39

@@fonzitheman Turns out Hotkey and Start isn't working for any games. I upgraded to Beta 36 a few days ago, maybe that's the cause.

@@pittsburghgeo Should still work. I use the beta on a sep test build. Try the map controller option setting and set your. hotkey there too.

*It's too bad: I can get Sega Model 3 games to work with a gamepad, unfortunately, they're unplayable with my arcade stick* (I've installed Batocera on my arcade machine). Whenever I move my arcade stick (in Star Wars Trilogy Arcade for instance), I go STRAIGHT to the edge of the screen (otherwise, it stays at the center of the screen).

I remember Star Wars being VERY picky on the calibration test. Follow the text exactly as written. This might holding and not releasing the final directional input. I can't recall exactly this was about two weeks ago.

Remember we want the in game calibration test independant of anything the model 3 emulator itself is doing. I will test Stars Wars when I get home to confirm.

I've managed to calibrate Star Wars Trilogy with the help of a mouse: Using the mouse, set both "centered" values to 80, then press 7, then carefully unplug the mouse (without moving it, or else the values will get screwed up). Move the left analog stick all the way around and press 7 again. My only problem that's left is that the analog stick auto-centers way too fast. I can play the game just fine with a mouse (and indeed I have set it up on a Windows-based cabinet to play with a light gun) , but with an analog stick it's unplayable. Is there any setting to disable the auto-centering?

japanese or any language game is worth keeping in batocera, you can use ai translation tools to play games in other languages! maybe do a vid on it

It looks like a version of Hypermax plus Its not available to download within Batocera so youd have to download it elsewhere and transfer it over. I believe it may be a pay theme as well

I found the theme. It's on internet archive. It's called hypermax v8

I’m lost. Im running batocera on an external hd from the same pc that I’ve saved the time to. I have to boot from the external hd and this doesn’t show me how to access anything I’ve saved to this pc while in windows. When I boot batocera, how do I access files I saved on the same pc it’s running on? I can’t access any folders from the pc, only what’s on this HD with batocera. Please help with this if you’re still around?

You mean how to access the windows drive while in Batocera file manager? Look for attached drives while in Batocera file manager, it might be called 'no label' or something else, once found then navigate to the files you wanna copy over to the Batocera share folder. If no extra drives show up though, try rebooting a few times until it does. If it still doesnt show then I dunno.

I use a I5:3570 and a Radeon hd 4830 for Batocera and can't for the life of me get model 2 and 3 to work. Model 2 freezes Batocerawhen trying to run any time, and model 3 just keeps going back to es.

You're trying to emulate demanding systems on the relatively weak and old hardware. That 4830 could easily be the reason. Haven't checked the mesa driver changelog, but I bet it's pretty much on a legacy life support by now. Enjoy those other million games you can run perfectly well instead.

He would be doing this on PC. Im not sure Batocera on Pi supports Model 3. You only need to check if your Pi (Im presuming you are asking cause you are using a Pi) has a model 3 roms folder, if not then its not officially supported.

I thinks its the RVGM theme, downloadable within Batocera themes. Its quite customizable, so you can change the layout, system as wheel, as a list, on the right, on the bottom etc. If youve installed it try theme cfg option and experiment.

@@fonzitheman no, it's not RVGM. It looks like the Hypermax Plus+ V.9 theme, which is not in the list of downloadable batocera themes. So, where can we get that theme?? Lol

that's nothing to do with batocera, it's what you do with the sega model 3 emulator. Similar to pressing TAB in MAME brings up the custom MAME key layouts and you can then set the DIP switches for each arcade game.
