My only concern is that the intersection does not have any traffic lights (Pakiad,Sooc,Oton). I hope the traffic lights will be installed soon to avoid future major vehicular and pedestrian accidents. It is necessary to place speed limit signs on the right side of the road and ensure that they are visible to motorists. Additionally, peace and order should be maintained by placing police outposts in the area. The shanties/informal settlements that were using the sidewalk for their businesses should be relocated. It's an eyesore for the passersby, especially for local and foreign tourists who're visiting the city.

I dont want to get my hopes up. Being familiar with the place, this beautiful project will just be turned into a billion peso talipapa. Ive seen this happen in other projects throughout iloilo. If not, it will be tirned into rest stops or parking spaces by inconsiderate motorists or ten wheeler trucks. Enjoy while it still new and beautiful because it dies quickly.
