Dakota Fanning stole the show in this film. She was 9 years old during filming and even at that age she brought such a level of maturity that rarely exists in children. The whole movie is great and I'm not surprised. Denzel and Tony Scott worked together around 5 times and I recommend watching all of them.

Equalizer is a triology series with the 3rd one being a special treat for those that have seen "Man on Fire". Denzel also won an Oscar for "Glory" and it has an all-star cast and it may be better than "Training Day".

Always had a conspiracy theory that Creasy and Robert McCall from The Equalizer was the same character because in that movie they alluded that McCall was considered dead which was why he was able to restart a new life with help from his former employer the CIA and in both movies there was a personal backstory about his wife dying so makin the case....

Very nice reaction, thank both of you for choosing this movie to react. little detail about the movie, there were a one or two love/sex scenes between Creasy and Lisa and they decided not to put those scenes in to any cut of the movie, due to that will ruined the character of Creasy and that he only got attached with Pita, and you can feel and sense the tension between them when he went to look for Pita's notebook, that tension because of the love scenes, but personally i would liked that they kept those scenes to explain the tension at the the scene i mentioned above.

Personally, I liked the editing style, because it fit with the theme of alcoholism, being hungover, the whole photophobic thing. As for Pita being alive, I don't see it as much of a "twist", rather than the grim reality of human trafficking. Why kill a beautiful little girl when you can turn her into a sex slave?

He didn't die. Christopher Walken's character was tracking Creacy the whole time and sniped all of the bad guys King of NY style. The Equalizer series is what happens after Creacy faked his death in Mexico.
