@@Kyjohnson1500 yeah I think your reading of this was definitely the right one based on the story, knowing that they just revealed that the whole town is coming to hunt him down. obviously Eddie's a good guy, but his story really has not been about saving Hawkins so much as saving himself, which is understandable.

I thought it was a bit to vague. Like is it because Max feels left out and wants to see what's going on? Or is it cause she really wants to see Steve with his shirt off? Cause neither really fit her character. And if she is just wanting to see Steve with his shirt off I guess its kinda funny yea. But most peoples reaction I've seen have been "what?".... not laughter lol

This was the major flaw in Yuri's double-cross. The Russian soldiers who captured Hopper at the church would definitely taken all of Yuri's contraband for themselves and probably have just thrown Yuri into prison too. Yuri would have known what they would do, and thus Yuri would have never sent Hopper to shelter in his contraband stash.

Hopper crazy smart American. Main characters don't ever seen to die no matter how much danger they are in. Still a great thrill ride. Eleven has to go thru some traumatic stuff. The season rocks so far!

Well according to articles episodes 7 and 9 are the longest of the season. I think 9 is over 2 hours long even but I’m not 100% sure on it. But it’s literally said the finale is indeed a movie length long. Episode 8 is probably around like a hour and 15 minutes or so but episode 7 was around a typical horror movie length at about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

I don't think we ever really have to worry about any of the main characters, they don't ever die in this show. Removes some of the tension, but still makes for a good cliffhanger!

@@jamesliggins891 In-Universe, the threat is already real. I mean, this alternate dimension is literally trying to take over the world. People are always dying in Hawkins and around our main cast. The “main characters” are also just regular residents themselves, their friends and family are dying. So, them dying isn’t raising stakes anymore than they’ve already been risen. Surely you’re talking about in-universe, right? Because if you’re talking about the stakes and the tension of the show itself, that argument is completely out the window. This show is doing just fine with how they’ve been doing their story. It’s one of, if not THE, most popular show on the platform. With consistently good reviews as well.

And why would they use old shots of her if they probably never filmed the shots they wanted to shoot all that time ago. You know wat i don't like about the flashbacks, there not right for the story. I watched the season twice now and there are quite a few strange story choices that don't add up. You can see that they made up the final season story line and Vecna. Were did 6 go, i think it was six, from season 2 her sister. She had powers, but not telekinetic powers. Now there is a whole group that all have the same powers. C'mon that's just weak writing.

I swear to god if they end up killing Steve this season, I'm gonna be so pissed. This man is not only THE fan-favorite character, but he also had the best character development throughout the seasons. It would really suck if they kill him off this season and not have him in S5.
