my interpretation for shibuki and chota scene: chota loves his friends so much, he wishes them to be safe. point to his childhood memory when his mum slept with the cult leader to pray, this is why he was praying "please safe them (arisu and karube)" when he slept with shubuki. shibuki used to sleep her way out of any situation point to her sleeping with her boss. she sees chota as vulnerable one of the group and thinks that if she slept with him, he would stand/sacrifice for her instead of for his friends.

yeah, chota was praying "please save them". At first i also thought he just did that with shibuki because he dont want to die as a virgin (it probably also his other reason). Until i realise he also prayed, he indeed care for them.

She also saw how they are taking care of him, so by sleeping with him, he will not want to leave her behind and his friends will protect her by proxy

Rewatching season 1 after finishing season 2 I realise how consistent aguni's and chisiya's (idk how yo pronounce his name) strategies are. Aguni with the "get him when he's reloading and bait him with someone" and chisiya's "observe & wait till the end to make a move"

i like how this show can stimulate our brain to imagine many posibility. Is it people project with high tech?? Is it alien? Is it good for humanity project or just games for crazy people to watch? Because they used high tech background, there can be more posibilities. Even chota said, "It must be God"

Background about gas game from manga. Each train 4 carriges, one with gas. Players had gas mask and 3 five min filters. Each carrage Opened after 5 mins. It was 2 of hearts. So one carrige was without filter, means you need to take a shot and risk. This game was to teach a lesson, in Borderlands Survival means not to fear betting your life
