немного не понял) пруток на столько ровный что ты проточил зажимая за черноту, потом перехватил опять же зажал за черноту , и потом взялся за 2 проточенных края ? они что получились идеально ровные без боя? шпиндель и контршпиндель ведь стоят в одной оси

Два вопроса. После зажатия второго патрона вы натягиваете заготовку, что бы убрать напряжение в детали? Кулачки обычно подвигают заготовку вперед. Какая длина? На заготовке получается обратная бочка, вы ее убераете програмно?

Both spindles are likely servo driven and know where its at location wise the same as your x/y/b, that info from one to the other is used to cam it over to the location its needed to be at every time. Spindle more or less is just a very fast moving fourth axis you would see on a cnc mill.

They synchronize with m code commands. It's pretty simple stuff, been around for decades!

@@ipadize Caveat: I am not a machinist. In this context I meant that one of the spindles was not "in gear". It was only rotating because it was clamped to the piece of stock that was being spun by the other spindle. I figured that it would be very difficult to spin (in gear} both spindles in perfect synchrony.
