Lathe Rotating Tail Stock Adaptor - 1.25" x 8 tpi

This video will describe the manufacture of this Rotating Tailstock with a 1.25" diameter by 8 tpi threaded end for the wood turning lathe.
I have used this Rotating tailstock adaptor on my woodturning lathe for two major applications. The first application is the gluing up and alignment of multiple layers of segmented discs on the lathe. The second application was for the turning of the opposite ends of segmented eggs and bowls on the lathe.

Since I just acquired a Powermatic 3520C this tool is just what I need. My old lathe spindle was 1x8. The Powermatic is 1.25x8.. The price ($95) is reasonable too.🙂🙂
