I know lath will probably not see this because of when this comment was posted there is a thousand comments. But just in case he does their is a semi large flat space on the back of your craft and you could turn it into a aircraft carrier like the blood thirster was originally supposed to have since I’m kinda getting a helicarrier vibe from this. The airplanes it could spawn in could have tiny swarm missiles that target surge protectors or other emp resistant objects so your main ship missiles could do max amount of damage. Drones that are like homing missiles that drill through into the enemies main systems instead of detonating so you would not have as much trouble or use as much energy to down a flying achievement. It would also make it easier to capture enemy ships.

He could also "repurpose" the technology found in the (interesting) craft he captures and putting them into drones, copy and pasting a part from it (let's say, an engine) to the drone for example. And he can only do that once for each part on the ship he captures. (i.e the Valiant has 2 railguns so he can copy each individual railgun once and use the individual turrets once) If he decides to keep some of the ships he captures, he can just take the weapons from other ships that he doesn't need and slap them onto the ships he's using. Is it ineffective? Yes. Is it completely unnecessary? Yes. Does it waste time? Yes. Is it a lot of hard work to adjust to random parts? Yes. Is it fun? Yes.

I was about to recommend adding a munition/missile defense system that uses ' small ' rail-guns to the craft, but then you capturing the valiant with it's awesome defensive laser makes that redundant. Great video! please stop saying goodbye so many times!

a very large amount of designs are sitting at the default rating of between 40-60 difficulty. So you need to be in there for most things. Crossbones for some silly reason i have set at 100 (max) FYI, I have not updated adventure mode ratings for years so all new designs are in the 40-60 range..including megalodon. (If you started on dev test)

Could this not be entirely replaced by using the new craft rankings? Firepower seems like the most adequate one, since you don't care too much whether enemies you face are cost effective or not. Seems like it could be less of a pain than using an discrete set of arbitrary values specific to Adventure mode, and likely to be made obsolete by updates.

Strip the ship for parts, directly adding them to you own. Steal its railguns for some back facing guns, use its flare launcher, take the engine out and put in you ship. Get the back of your ship to be a helipad for the drones. Steal its adorable lifeboats for yourself! Cannibalize it, add more layers to your boat onion!

They are gonna add nuclear power to the game, go to the build menu and look up nuclear, it will show you the options for nuclear control rod and much more, although it won’t let you click it cause it’s not actually implemented into the game yet

Captain’s Log, RCV Valiant: Today, my ship faced her greatest yet challenge. Sent by the Resistance Council to locate Lathrix, and escape to report his position, we accomplished the first half of our goal splendidly. He’s not too difficult to find, you know - just have to follow the trail of broken and battered vessels. The other half, however, not so much. His vessel approached ours at a speed not seen before, and several other vessels in the area decided to join the fray - on neither side. We focused our fire on one of the unaffiliated vessels, one which Lathrix himself was fighting previously. It went down relatively quickly, but the main prize was approaching just as fast - despite our fighters’ attempts to stop him. His particle cannon roared, but our surge protectors stopped the shot dead. His railgun followed.. and our munition defense answered. The expert gunners were able to take out the majority of the incoming shots, and we heard him exclaim “It can stop RAILGUN SHOTS?!” All the way from the other ship. Our munition defense lasers couldn’t fire infinitely, however, unlike his railgun. Eventually, our final weapon - and by extension our last way of protecting ourselves - went down. The crew prepared to repel boarders. We fought for almost half an hour, the mechanics with their wrenches and the officers with their pistols. It wasn’t enough to stem the Legion’s tide of red, however, and soon enough they had a man in the bridge. What was left of our crew was forced to surrender. This will likely be my final log, unless.. Well, I heard him talking about capturing my vessel. If it could save what remains of my crew.. I would take the offer to join the Legion. That’s just wishful thinking, though.. Lieutenant Commander Ivanov of the RCV Valiant, signing off. (As a sidenote, happy birthday lath! I hope the number of characters in a comment makes the KZbin algorithm like the video it was posted on more.)
